I know many of you are excited for Catly, AKA quirky cat game #1538, and we all know there has been some controversy surrounding this game's reveal's trailer looking AI-generated. Thankfully, Catly's developers have stepped forward to set the record straight:
They did NOT use NFTs, the blockchain, or "blockchain currency" to make their game.
Thank. GOD. I don't know how I could sleep at night if blockchain technology were used in a video game, and I'm extremely grateful for the confirmation that NFTs won't be used in the game, even though NFTs have literally nothing to do with a trailer looking kinda sorta hyperrealistic, but that doesn't matter because blockchains and NFTs are
le bad because reasons and we can't have
le bad things in our wholesome big chungus Reddit cat game.
