"Gee, I wanna check out on some news related to the Switch 2, guess going back 10 pages should be enough"

*Multiple pages of loli spergouts*

"Yeah, sure, OK, I didn't care that much about the Switch 2 anyway..."

Was there anything new on the Switch 2 front?

Read something in the sony thread about somebody being keen on it and it had been a looooong time since a peeked in here, so was wondering if anything new had popped out. Is it even expected for 2025?

The only thing that's confirmed is that it'll be announced by the end of this fiscal year (March 2025). Everything else is just the vidya rumor mill counting their chickens before they hatch

Reviews are starting to come in for M&L Brothership. The biggest issue seems to be pacing, otherwise it's a standard affair for the franchise. The lowest score so far is IGN's 5/10.

EDIT:
Added more review scores.

"No trannies docks points"

Only played Dream Team and enjoyed it, but it was a slog sometimes so not that surprised that it would have pacing issues. Remember there were a lot of annoying tutorials too and heard the series was a bit notorios for that.
Yeah, M+L is a lot more technical than Paper Mario so there's more to explain.

That kind of spergery is a reliable indication that "no, there's been no interesting news lately." I've just learned to love that highlight feature to skip over the pointless bullshit.

I still hate that people let Nintendo get away with claiming emulation is "illegal." It isn't, and they've lost in court trying to claim otherwise.
Maybe if when people said ‘i should be able emulate game’ they didn’t obviously mean ‘i should be able to copy and play games I did not buy or own and have no intention of doing either’ and it wasn’t obvious to everyone that was what they meant…maybe then people would believe it wasn’t illegal. As it is everyone knows they are using it for illegal stuff so don’t care about what is technically correctly.

Counterpoint: Debating the semantics of software piracy is supremely gay and the amount of people who are directly ripping game files in order to emulate on another platform (or on the same platform, but through a different form of media, i.e., multi-game loading SD cards and such) is most likely minimal compared to everyone else who is just essentially pirating software.

Which is also a non-issue.

If only there was a singular word to summarize the specific act of "illegally downloading a piece of media for the express purpose of playing it without paying money"... nope, can't think of anything.

Only a couple of hours in so far, but it's OK. Music and visuals are nice, combat is as zippy as ever.
"It's okay" is the "it's dogshit" of any game made by a triple A non-woke studio

I was vaguely interested in brothership but seeing all the buzz about it be nintendo hyper fans jerking off to the boxart along with them making corporate-y feeling decisions like making Luigi AI controlled makes me think it's boring as shit. I'm sure the visual effects feel good when you hit an enemy and it makes a little ding when you collect a coin but that doesn't mean it's good, or even okay. A bottle of polish with no shoe to go on
