Does anyone know who mods the alog lolcow thread? I was going post to an in defense of Null on this issue but it says I'm permabanned. I asked why I was permabanned and the response was "CP", which I never posted. The thread may be run by actual pedos. I noticed there is explicit lolicon that the jannies don't to spoiler or ban the lolicon poster.

This is what I was going to post in reply on /cow/:

Lolicons get mad when you say it's pedo to like lolis, that doesn't mean they're innocent. "I would never touch a child under 18, how dare you! She is 1000 years old trapped in the body of a pre-teen! This means she can fully consent to sexual intercourse and I can fuck her in her tight prepubescent vagina!" The defensiveness of these people when confronted makes it all the more obvious. It's like telling an addict that their addiction might be a problem, then they try and gaslight you, saying you're a pedo and why you projecting sexuality onto a child.

I will say once again despite saying this many other times. I am just giving statements about censorship, whether you choose to accept that is up to you.

There are rules against low effort posting and plus this thread has been obnoxiously derailed enough and many are sick of it. Any time the thread almost reaches normalcy someone must give rehash this situation again by insulting me. I respond if their are attacks on what kind of person I am, but I am not bringing it back up unless someone tries to insult.


Off topic btw, SSJ_Ness is threadbanned which is incredibly gay. You would think I would be, but not him. Pretty gay jannies I must say.
 
Guys, can you stop debating about loli and shit?

1. Banning depiction of crimes on the screen or on paper screws over every art medium. We cannot show fictional people being victims now? Think about the ramifications in art. Loli can only be banned on the excuse that it depicts a crime (sex/sexualisation with/of a minor). By that reasoning, depictions of other crimes such as murder, abuse, theft and others could also be banned.

2. Lin's outfits were too much for a game like this. A higher age rating for the game would be a better compromise in my book if only to not give the censors more power to abuse on other subjects too such as skimpiness in adults and sexual dialogue. We saw what happened with Saints Row, Dragon Age and the like. Fuck that!

3. Porn is very subjective. "What repulses one, entices another." Let us not get into what each of us likes because none of us will look too pretty. The best we can hope is to be called boring.

Can we talk about ACTUAL victims as opposed to fictional ones? Not enough money, time and effort to save you waifus when actual children are being victimised. None of us is qualified to debate something like this anyway.

Greedy monopolistic global corporations get no sway from me. Half the games Nintendo "owns" were made by people who are now retired, left the company, or died. Imagine once Shiggy is gone and all the old guard leave, you might as well call Nintendo the ship of Theseus. I’m honestly amazed thdy didn’t give X a higher rating considering the subject matters it touched upon and the tone and style it wad going for.

Most of the games are mostly made by the new guard anyway now. Honestly the old Zelda guard dying would be great. We’d avctually get games on time that don’t contort to fit whatever one guys son was interested in.

FWIW, the "urban culture" in Splatoon is actually modelled after urban culture in Japan. Though, of course, that is just a mixture of 2000s era hiphop and hipster culture mashed up by Japanese people trying to be white. And, honestly, is it really trendy and forward facing anymore when that ascetic has been around for twenty years and the games for 10? You might as well have the characters listening to Of Montreal music.

I mean, yes. When you consider it’s been about a decade since Splatoon 1. There are not really very many big games, certainly that don’t attract a huge audiance with that kind of style.

My one gripe with Splatoon is still I wish you could play Solo against bots.

And honestly really surprised Splat 1 has yet to be rereleased on the Switch. Maybe the Switch 2?

Its an MP-centric title, they aren't going to cannibalize the audience like that. Honestly, its shocking to me that they actually had 2 and 3 on the same system.

Takahashi has said he wants to make an M rated game but Nintendo probably isn't letting him. But now they released that Emio game with an M rating so maybe they are opening up to the idea. I shudder to think of what Treehouse would do to it though.

Something with the depth of Xenogears. And considering he was able to make 2 whilst sending half of the squad off to make Zelda, they probably could handle two projects at once.
 
I still hate that people let Nintendo get away with claiming emulation is "illegal." It isn't, and they've lost in court trying to claim otherwise. Copying their game cartridges and discs if you don't own them -- i.e. "copyright infringement" -- is what's unlawful. I can emulate my Conker's Bad Fur Day N64 cartridge on my PC all day long because I own it. That's perfectly legal, from the software to the copy of the cartridge data. If they don't like it, they can suck my swollen zombie cow teats.

(that will only make sense for another couple of days until I change my PFP again :story: )
