Good news, it's happening!

I mean, admittedly it doesn't have the same name, but it's a massive world map RPG about a bounty hunter wielding weapons called ARMs exploring the wild frontier while using tools in the overworld and dungeons, created by the same chief staff, after he stopped making Symphogear content to work on it.
I forgot about this actually. This and the Shadow Hearts kickstarter. They've been radio silent for a while.

Nintendo selects is effectively used as a clearance sale, and is only made available when the next generation of console has begun sales. The Wii U had it, the Wii had it, the 3DS had it. The Switch will get Nintendo selects some time next year.
Given that the Switch 2 is going to be backwards compatible, you might be a bit too :optimistic: .

A brand new Donkey Kong would stop my bitching at least awhile
Can't say I wasn't disappointed when I realized DKCR HD wasn't a new game.

ARMS was one of the best new games to come out this generation.
I was about to make a joke about this claim but it's probably technically true, though mainly because there's been very little of value on PS & XB.

Like I've said in the past, the only thing to own this day and age is a Switch and PC or whatever handheld device you want that can emulatea shitton of stuff.

Just like decades past, the industry is a 2 party system with the other competitors flapping around like chickens without their heads.

You mean, once a month? They do post updates there on a regular basis, including the additional game the Shadow Hearts team put for their Vampire Survivors clone.

I'd prefer a Wild Arms sequel
I always confuse Wild Arms for Wild Guns. The box art for that game is the perfect Japanese brand of crazy.

I don't contribute to any KS campaigns, so I guess that's why I don't hear about them.

Also, I am by no means a Sony fan right now but I laughed at this after that very mid direct.

I've tried the demo of Iwakura Aria, a mystery adventure game set in Japan 1966, published by MAGES and currently a Switch exclusive.
I'm liking the artstyle overall and the sequences of comic-style monochrome panels in watercolor.

It's quite telling when Japanese developers are actually showcased in Nintendo Directs rather than in Playstation.

I really dislike the releasing of full price remastered games only as digital titles. Speaking of Beyond Good and Evil here but the same held true for Crystal Chronicles and others.

There have been so many games on Switch that I would have bought if they had not just been digital only.

If you want me to buy digital Nintendo up your storage space on your systems to something sensible

Nearly every other third party switch game was like a limited/one time only production run physically and it does not stop angering me. Other consoles are plagued by this too but it's been fucking especially aggravating on switch for me for some reason. The rat platformer rhythm game from a few years ago I wanted to get never showed up physical anywhere with only online retailers carrying it and it selling out after coming out almost immediately. At least that had a reason for that with it being bundled with the soundtrack on CASSETTE of all things but most games don't get that excuse!

What do you think that SD card slot is for? You were never intended to live off 32 GB.
A good portion of users only buy cartridges and not eShop digital purchases. Plus a memory card is better then being stuck with the memory size you initially purchased.
