In fairness, at least some of the videos and incidents were staged (that's a hell of an expensive "joke" though). As for the rest, yeah, people are just absurdly stupid. I personally hated that stupid strap, but I still always used it when I played with my Wii (heh). It's trivial to use and you don't even notice it once you're playing. Never had a problem.I dont understand how that fucking happens. Theres a warning that comes up everytime u start game to remind u that theres a strap for u to put ur hand through so that way if the Wii remote slips out of ur hand it wont hit anyone because its straped to your wrist. And yet retards still somehow broke their fucking TVs.
I saw elsewhere that the retard was fired/left retro in 2022.
It would be vgcharts, wouldnt it?
2019 is when the project officially rebooted under retro, 2020 saw HUGE hiring expansions at retro to accommodate the scope of the game. This was before the giant fucking layoffs of almost 15% of the industry, so if you're hiring that many people back then, retards are gonna slip through the cracks. A single writer that was new to the studio and likely would have minimal say as a result that was removed from the project entirely 3+ years before the game even releases isn't the biggest thing to worry about. It says more that there are some people THIS desperate to smear every single nintendo game as woke, while largely ignoring the company that said "cities can rebuild" during peak blm. You're actually right. My bad, she left

Never and i fucking never touch the SaGa games unless you absolutely hate/love jrpgs and love hating yourself, the entire franchise is Square letting a bunch of retarded and undesirable employees shit up a game to see if it can sell more than 3 copies as a jokeRomancing Saga 2, looks interesting enough to keep an eye, but I know fuck all about the Romancing Saga, so if anybody wants to give me a quick summary on if it's worth getting into and if I should play 1, it will be welcome.
I really want you to be rightA single writer that was new to the studio and likely would have minimal say as a result that was removed from the project entirely 3+ years before the game even releases isn't the biggest thing to worry about.
Ubisoft announced that BGE rerelease today. I dunno if they got bumped from the Switch direct or what, shit's weird, man.Well, its forty minutes long, a "big one" by direct standards. I guess I'll make my predictions:
Third party stuff leaked or hinted at by their internal incompetence:
Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD2D (sorry 3 fans)
BGE 1 remaster that was leaked half a year ago
Ace Attorney remake
Among Us thing that somebody else guessed? Possible repeat of the one that Xbox showed.
Silk Song
And then for internal stuff that hasn't been leaked and really is me just guessing:
FE4 remake (okay, this one has been "leaked")
surprise Kirby spinoff
Wind Waker remake
Kid Icarus Uprising "remaster" that is practically a remake
Metroid Prime as the show ender
I dunno, that seems overly good. Looking at that, maybe stuff like WW or KI doesn't make it.
Finally figured out why FlyCastDojo wouldn't run properly on my linux computer, and it's the most retarded reason ever.(with the exception of MvC2, which FC2's FlyCast doesn't want to cooperate with my linux distro for whatever reason, but even then I can still play it on PCSX2)
Horrifying, but I think it's funny the article states "no matter what fans say, the intent of the creator is the only opinion that really matters", meanwhile hinging everything on an off-hand comment by a guy who was merely credited as a background designer for Metroid, whose comment was later directly debunked by Sakamoto saying that "a Metroid game was as likely to come to PlayStation 2 as Samus was to be transgender".
1. Nintendo of America need purged. Badly. My criticisms of Nintendo
On the other hand, a game like Tekken 8 comes out and I know it will go down so far in price that I sit on it, and I just never end up buying or playing it.And also personally it's ridiculous that games that came out six years ago are still going for full price. I pirate Nintendo shit just because I'm not paying 68 bucks for something I'm not sure I will like.
Long dev cycles? Are you sure you don't mean that criticism for everyone but Nintendo?1. Nintendo of America need purged. Badly.
2. They're too strict with IPs that need loosening and too soft on IPs that need retard wrangling.
3. Their dev cycles are embarrassingly slow.

nah, everyone else ships their games so fast it takes years for the bugfixes to catch upLong dev cycles? Are you sure you don't mean that criticism for everyone but Nintendo?

Basically the only two "long dev cycles" I can really think of are Tears of the Kingdom, and Metroid Prime 4, both of which had somewhat extenuating circumstances, and were revealed far earlier in the development cycle than nintendo usually does. On average, nintendo seems to have ~3-4 year development cycles, which again, is probably too long still, but the entire western AAA industry is RAPIDLY reaching a point where average game development lasts longer than the average console generation. Mark my words, there will be games put into development in the twilight years of the ps5 that won't come out until the ps7 launches, and this is without major delays, assuming the entire industry doesn't reset.nah, everyone else ships their games so fast it takes years for the bugfixes to catch up
part of the reason why games are so difficult to develop is the high resolution art and high polygon models needed in modern games. those games haven't been selling as well, and DLSS has made much of that work redundant. we might see graphics quality hit a wall for a while.Basically the only two "long dev cycles" I can really think of are Tears of the Kingdom, and Metroid Prime 4, both of which had somewhat extenuating circumstances, and were revealed far earlier in the development cycle than nintendo usually does. Ps5 is already just a ps4 pro version 2 as is. The biggest issue with a portable from either sony or microsoft is how fast price scales with power if you want a battery life greater than 2 hours. That, and the fact that neither company can properly maintain software output on ONE product line, releasing a portable now would make the vita's situation seem enviable.part of the reason why games are so difficult to develop is the high resolution art and high polygon models needed in modern games. those games haven't been selling as well, and DLSS has made much of that work redundant. we might see graphics quality hit a wall for a while.
Right now the PS5 is about 3x the power of a Asus ROG Ally or Lenovo Legion Go, and that's not an insurmountable difference. It's possible that either microsoft or Sony will forgoe making a more powerful console and instead focus on a portable that's at the same power level and can be docked.
Well, BotW itself had an overly long dev cycle, even if you factor in it being retooled from a Wii U exclusive to a crossgen title with no gimmicky bullshit. And then there's gonna be at least 8 years in between Mario Odyssey and whatever they're currently working. But for every one of those two games you have Monolith's Xenoblade putting out two titles, a remake and three stand-alone DLCs in that same span.Basically the only two "long dev cycles" I can really think of are Tears of the Kingdom, and Metroid Prime 4, both of which had somewhat extenuating circumstances, and were revealed far earlier in the development cycle than nintendo usually does. The issue is you're assuming that the odyssey devs shipped the game, and then just turned around and started working on the next 3d mario. That's not how it works, they've been doing other games since then. As for botw, while if you look on wikipedia, it says the game started development in late 2011, that's quite literally just spitballing ideas. Actual development didn't begin in full until early 2013. Even then, botw didn't plan for a 4 year development cycle, that was a result of two separate delays.Well, BotW itself had an overly long dev cycle, even if you factor in it being retooled from a Wii U exclusive to a crossgen title with no gimmicky bullshit.
