I maintain that’s less due to the mechanics and down to the ‘beds’ or ‘tables’ not looking style wise like they belonged in a Zelda game.

Moving objects or stacking them to traverse areas has always been a thing. It just did not look right.Nor does the echoes inventory. It looks like the BoTW one, cause it is, but that does match with the artstyle.

Honestly think it would have been better if the powers she got were just callbacks to older games. Instead of of inventory puzzle stacking

Is it just me, or does the new Zelda look like it's an asset flip. Even the concept is boring, solving puzzles by opening up the GMod Spawn Menu. It's cool that it's a zelda game that's more puzzled based, Oracle ages did that too.. I feel like the ideal Zelda as the protagonists game would play something more like earlier Harry Potter games were Zelda learns new spells or abilities and puts them to use to solve problems. Something that goes more back to the classic Zelda formula.

This game collection in general is what actually got me into fighting games in the beginning. Sure, I was always playing something of the Alpha series on PS1, or Super Turbo on my Genesis, but when these came out, hoooboy. I was hooked.

Just knowing that Capcom is working with SNK again out of all of this makes me extremely happy. If we get a Capcom vs SNK 3 out of all this hype, I will shit a brick.

A not insignificant portion of this has to be replacement consoles for kids. The Switch is probably the most fragile handheld ever developed and I personally know multiple people whose kids are on their third or fourth Switch.

By this logic, we should also downplay the PlayStation 2’s achievement in sales because of how fragile early models of the hardware were. People often had to get second or third consoles to replace broken ones.

Switch is still objectively Nintendo’s best selling console you can play on a TV.
