Saw the direct (skipping the shit nobody gives a shit about like Funkos and Horizon) and a pretty solid haul of stuff I'm interested in
Mario and Luigi Brotherhood looks nice enough, but I've only played Dream Team (which I liked) so I imagine long time fans think different. Doesn't look anything revolutionary but enough to stick in the radar, though I should probably give priority to Inside Story first.
Fantasian Neon Dimension I'm interested purely on it's pedigree. Though my life is death by RPGs... and Lost Odyssey goes first for sure, but I'll keep an eye on it. The whole "grab a bunch of random encounters and do them at once" is a neat concept.
Donkey Kong Country Returns I never played, so might be an excuse to give it a go
Dragon Quest 3, I'm a sucker for these pretty hd remakes. But DQXI was a bit of a chore to play (did finish finish it) and I don't know if something like DQ3 will drag on or not.
Zelda Echoes of Wisdom. It eventually had to happen that a game with Zelda as the protag would surface, I'm just very happy that they didn't just have link with tits like that retard Sarkeesian wanted and remembered that Zelda bears the triforce of Wisdom and is a sorcerer first. So a gold star for giving her unique mechanics. What I'm not so sure of is if playing with all the shit you can put on the map will amuse me or drive me up a wall. Tears of the Kingdom filtered me out with it's lego mechanics. This one only operating in a 2D plane and with no intent of grafting shit together to make complex mechanisms should be a lot more manageable for me, but I can only imagine how tedious it will be going through your menus of random crap. I also wonder how they stop you from just dropping 5 of the same enemy into every combat situation.
Ace Attorney Investigation Collection reminded me that I still have to play Ghost Trick and that it's been too long since I've played anything Ace Attorney like.
Last Defense Academy is the latest insanity from the Danganronpa guys and I'm already interested. I just hope it has better rhythm, I'm still playing Project Rain Code but it's honestly feeling like a chore since everything feels so slow to get through. Maybe having it be a tower defense/SRPG will make it dynamic enough to keep shit going.
Romancing Saga 2, looks interesting enough to keep an eye, but I know fuck all about the Romancing Saga, so if anybody wants to give me a quick summary on if it's worth getting into and if I should play 1, it will be welcome.
Metroid Prime 4, I've only played through most of 1, so I'm not going to act like if this drove me nuts, but it's nice to se it's not vaporware and it does very much look and sound like a Metroid Prime. Hope the wait will be worth it for the fans.
Surprised on no Switch 2, not so sure about it coming next year, but Nintendo is the only company with some brain matter to keep most of their shit close to their chest to not devolve in multiple years of waiting for nothing (outside of fuck ups like Tears of the Kingdom and Metroid Prime 4).
I certainly enjoyed it more than the slop others have been showing.
