So apparently the "Mature 17+" N64 titles are in their own seperate N64 NSO app rather than just being marked as 17+ like i thought they were going to be.

So it's possible there will be more 17+ games, of which there are plenty
  • Bio Freaks
  • Carmageddon 2
  • Conker's Bad Fur Day
  • Daikatana
  • Doom 64
  • Duke Nukem 64
  • Duke Nukem: Zero Hour
  • ECW Hardcore Revolution
  • Forsaken
  • Hexen: Beyond Heretic
  • Mace: The Dark Age
  • Mortal Kombat 4
  • Mortal Kombat Mythologies
  • Mortal Kombat Trilogy
  • Nightmare Creatures
  • Perfect Dark
  • Quake
  • Quake II
  • Resident Evil 2
  • Shadow Man
  • South Park
  • South Park Rally
  • South Park Chef's Luv Shack
  • Turok Dinosaur Hunter
  • Turok 2 Seeds of Evil
  • Turok 3 Shadow of Oblivion
  • Turok Rage Wars
  • War Gods
We can rule out Resident Evil 2 since the remake is also available on the Switch (albeit Cloud only)
We can also rule out the DOOM games since they are their own seperate downloads on the eShop
Quake 1 and 2 are also seperate downloads so that's out.
ECW is defenitely not going on there.
South Park MIGHT have a chance to be on there
The other Turok games have a high probability of being on there
Mortal Kombat MIGHT be on there

Everything else looks like a coin-flip.

I saw an interesting tidbit in the press release for Super Mario Party Jamboree god that’s a dumb name:
In addition, over 110 minigames are available to play — the largest selection in the Mario Party series to date. Experience action-packed challenges, puzzles to test your wits and some minigames that feature motion controls.
The fact that they pointed out only some games having motion controls may imply that they can be turned off so the Switch Lite crowd won’t be excluded. They confirmed 110+ minigames, so if 30 used motion controls, that would still leave 70-80, which is the average in past games anyway.

We can also rule out the DOOM games since they are their own seperate downloads on the eShop
Quake 1 and 2 are also seperate downloads so that's out.
But Turok was already on Switch with the remaster, along with its sequels, yet that still got released on NSO. So I wouldn't rule these out entirely, even though it would be dumb if they were added.

Conker feels pretty obvious since there's already a huge collaboration on rareware n64 titles with microsoft.

Oh, damn. Mario & Luigi, Donkey Kong Country Returns, DRAGON QUEST III 2D-HD!!!!, a Phantom Brave sequel, and Metroid Prime 4. What a fantastic Nintendo Direct.

I was excited about the Zelda game at first, but then I saw the gameplay, and saw that it wasn't actually a Zelda-style game. Kind of a let-down, since I've been hoping for a new top-down, 8 dungeon Zelda game.

I would say the only "Mature" games from that list that have the highest probability of getting ported to NSO would be RE2 and Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Thats not the point the point is its being shilled as “finally muh female protags”
I don’t even give a shit, just don’t pretend the simplicity is a big deal for female protags that didn’t get the spotlight before when the games are boring
The point isn't that it's a female protagonist, the point is that it's Zelda. The namesake of the franchise and a genuine icon who's been stuck in the damsel-in-distress position near-exclusively for 30+ years despite being very obviously shown to have interesting magical powers and plenty of fighting capability multiple times before. This isn't "make a female protagonist to appeal to the feminists", this is "hey maybe we should let the magical princess shoot off some magic missiles for a game or two".

Honestly, I think the only thing keeping this Direct from being a 10 is the DK announcement being a remaster instead of a new game (not that there won't be a new one eventually). Apart from that, between a new 2D Zelda, a new Mario Party, Mario & Luigi somehow returning, Zero Mission and Perfect Dark on NSO and of course Prime 4 to top it all off, this has been a pretty enjoyable send-off to the Switch 1 era. I was worried a lot of the filler was the same weeb RPG shit they announce to appease their Japanese audiences, but I'm glad that's been at least partially offset by Metroid, a franchise Japan has historically been allergic to, being the closing announcement.

After sleeping on it, that direct really was shit.

The only really new thing was a tower defense game from the Danganronpa guy. Everything else was a sequel, remake or port.

Even the stuff I was interested in like Dragon Quest, Marvel and Ace Attorney are all ports or remakes of old games.

That Zelda art style is dog shit, and is definitely made for troons. Mario & Luigi is boring. We don't need a third fucking port of DKCR. Prime is okay, but I'm not a huge fan and will likely have to buy a new system to play the good version.

@Anonitolia @Two Dollars

Call me dumb all you want, faggot, but that Zelda game is no different from one of those cozy indie games where you just run around and autistically build stuff and farm stuff. They went from having Zelda disguise as Sheikh and fight to building furniture to rescue Link, who's probably going to end up trooned out. Enjoy the game, cuck.

Question regarding the Marvel Vs. Capcom collection, are there any unwoke shit Capcom will try to erase from it like they did their previous Capcom collection?

In it, they changed Fei Kong’s Hong Kong flag to China and removed a secret risque ending from a Darkstalkers game. If there is any possibility of that happening again, I’m going to wait and see before I buy.
What's the ending? Sucks to see Cuckcom do this kinda shit so often.

Which was shit.
Super Princess Peach was great aside from the forced collectibles.

Apparently one of those AA games was Japan exclusive, so it's basically new to a lot of people.
