My prediction is their big announcement is going to be ports of the Wii U HD versions of Twilight Princess and Wind Waker. Also, Mario Wonder will get some DLC, and we'll get some ports of eshop games that are trapped in Wii U or 3DS purgatory like Dillon's Rolling Western and Pushmo. Then that will be pretty much it for first party releases on the Switch.
There's been a ton of rumours in the past couple months about the delay being caused by the project expanding. It could very well be just the third game, but a collection could happen too.
Well, its forty minutes long, a "big one" by direct standards. I guess I'll make my predictions:
Third party stuff leaked or hinted at by their internal incompetence:
Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD2D (sorry 3 fans)
BGE 1 remaster that was leaked half a year ago
Ace Attorney remake
Among Us thing that somebody else guessed? Possible repeat of the one that Xbox showed.
Silk Song
And then for internal stuff that hasn't been leaked and really is me just guessing:
FE4 remake (okay, this one has been "leaked")
surprise Kirby spinoff
Wind Waker remake
Kid Icarus Uprising "remaster" that is practically a remake
Metroid Prime as the show ender
I dunno, that seems overly good. Looking at that, maybe stuff like WW or KI doesn't make it.
We have the other 3 main ones: Tennis, Golf and Soccer. Baseball is the only one left beyond Basketball, which was always a weird spin-off relegated to DS, or a collection like Sports Mix.

I & II are very simple games that would not take long to implement in a modern programming environment, not even if the dev team completely rebalanced them for modern standards.
Highly doubt this. They are most likely completely overhauling the whole game either as a remake or some other re-do thing based on interviews and the 3 DLC, probably a Switch 2 launch title or early release.
This seems plausible, the PC version has unused config settings titled Switch, but I wonder what the performance would be like since for some reason the Steam Deck struggles to keep 60fps, probably just the janky PC port.

Nintendo wouldn't fund it because it didn't do very well on the Wii U, who could have guessed. They used the engine as the foundation for all their later games, but its so different now that the Xenoblade 1 remaster was more of a remake, so I assume they would have to do the same with X.
I personally am predicting that they are doing a 'redux' or something where its the original game script that got scrapped mid development when Nintendo told them to add online features, which was more of a Xenosaga-redux style story like how Xenosaga is to Xenogears. I don't think they will go as far as completely scrapping X since they have already referenced it a ton in Xenoblade 3 and its DLC dropping names directly, but a lot of X as it stands is in a weird place story wise because of said story changes to accommodate online. Maybe they will try and salvage what already exists, maybe they will do a FF14 esque re-do or something, but either way I am 99% sure their next Xenoblade will be X related, not Xenosaga, to the dismay of all the fanbase tourists who have never played any of the games other than the Switch ones. X is already the Xenosaga re-do, which the tranny fanbase would be able to figure out if they had actually played Xenosaga and took one look at X's artstyle, not even getting into all the direct references.
The state of the Xenoblade fanbase makes me so MATI.
I don't think I'm really tuned-in enough to current happenings to make a prediction list, so instead I'm just gonna write up a wishlist for the Switch's end-of-life tenure. It's dumb and personal but I kind of hope i'm not the only person wanting some of these to be made, so I'm posting this anyways.
Miitopia without Tomodachi Life feels incomplete and the latter's total absence on the Switch is bothering my crippling autism. A sequel or port would be neat. Maybe they could even do some compatibility thing with the Miitopia port where you could import Miitopia characters to the Tomodachi Life game and use it as a sort of epilogue for their life of adventuring.
I don't care that there's no way it's happening, I want a new Rhythm Heaven. It's been nearly a decade since the last entry and the Switch is near-dead. I know that Tsunku had his vocal chords removed, but that only barely stopped Megamix (and there's surely more people involved with the series than just him). Please God let me play a new Rhythm Heaven game instead of replaying DS for the hundredth time this year.
Has it been long enough for a Fossil Fighters reboot? Collection? Anything? As long as the series doesn't end on the tragedy that is Frontiers I will be happy. How on earth this would happen without a stylus or a microphone is beyond me, but I still want it to miraculously appear. The Switch 2 being rumored to be dual-screen is giving me hope.
Kirby RPG Kirby RPG Kirby RPG please please please. The 3DS one doesn't count, it was a mobile game wearing a vaguely RPG-themed skinsuit. A cute and short RPG where the eldritch horror shit the newer entries seem to love so much can be fully leveraged into a more fleshed-out plot would be a great minor title to toss onto the Switch near the end of its life. 20 hours and multiplayer for 40 bucks or something. They could even reuse Star Allies' engine if they wanted to make party recruitment work like the partners in that game!
Fire Emblem Fates port that collapses all three titles into one. I loved the gameplay in these titles (even if the story was ASS) but the stupid three-version gimmick was clearly not thought through whatsoever and it's such a pain to try and find Revelations physically nowadays. Engage was a year and a half ago so I highly doubt this will happen but come on it'd be really convenient and pretty neat.
Some kind of "Mario Party Collection" with all the titles that aren't on NSO or a Wii console (4-7). Not even as a remaster or anything. It'd be cheap and scummy, but making it would prompt the Switch to become a hub for all the good Mario Parties and could help severely reduce prices for the original copies in the secondhand market (5 and 6 especially jesus).
While we're talking about party games- a remake of either Fortune Street (or a sequel) would be neat. It'd probably be a rights nightmare given the crossover with DQ, but I don't really care because I just want to play weird-looking Monopoly on Starship Mario as a Slime while waiting for a bus.
I'm casting a wide net to hopefully mitigate the inevitable disappointment lol. I doubt any of these will really happen, but if even a single item gets crossed off this list then I'll be quite the happy camper.
