It was great. I actually remember things about it, which is a good sign, because I often don't remember anything even about good games. Glory of Heracles, for example, is something I enjoyed but I couldn't tell you a damn thing about it except it was good. And I only played it once, back when GC was still relevant.
 
Switch got an OS update

Ver. 18.1.0 (Released June 10, 2024)
The following updates were made for the discontinuation of X (formerly Twitter) integration:
  • The option to “Post to Twitter” when sharing from the Album in the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu was removed.
  • The ability to post Super Smash Bros. Ultimate screenshots from the Album in the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu to Smash World in the Nintendo Switch Online smart device app was removed.
  • The option to link X (formerly Twitter) from “Settings” > “User Settings” > “Posting to Social Media” was removed.
The option to link social media accounts from “My Page” > “Friend Suggestions” was removed.

General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience.

I've beaten it twice too, most recently in 2022.

It has a really engaging battle system, the dungeons are fun to explore, and the story is a good ride with some nice character growth.

Play it on a GameCube if you can, the HD demaster stinks.

They don't want you buying their games for 20-30 dollars, they want you paying 40-60. And they also know that those cube titles absolutely would compete with, and cannibalize sales from, their current generation titles.

New games are pretty much like 20 year old ones nowadays, and their average customer is like nine, so they might as well recycle. If backwards compatibility is standard and complete going forward, Nintendo will have to devise innovative new ways to resell the same games over and over.

You guys mean 2D, right? Didn't Mario always have a run button in those? Makes sense to me. The only other way to do it would be a Sonic-esque momentum system I guess, but I don't think it's a good fit for platformers requiring more precision.

They've discontinued a lot of them physically over the past twelve months. People have been speculating that its for a Selects lineup but they could just as easily take those titles off the storefront and vault them too. :)

It's pretty bad. Doesn't play anywhere near as well and all the characters feel like fanfiction.
