Third party seems promising right now. They already got Bethesda on board, as well as the standard companies like Sega, Capcom, Konami etc. but also companies like From, Atlus, Take Two... weird stuff.
It's promising indeed, but keep in mind when the Wii U was announced, they did kinda the same thing.

I just hope Nintendo just needed to level up their marketing to sell their console well in order to attract more third party companies.

One can only imagine what the next Smash Brothers or Fire Emblem game would look like on the Nintendo Switch.

I want to hear about more games on the Switch dammit!

There are more now than when the Wii U was advertised to have though. There are also some pretty unexpected developers as well such as From Software.

Until they announce the launch titles list, this means nothing to me.

My guess is that most of those cool names on the 3rd parties will just give it some ports of old stuff.

At this point, I cannot care any less.

It's not quite the same situation. The third party video Nintendo showed at E3 was released one year before development, so the developers offering support back then probably didn't know a whole lot about the Wii U. The Switch is coming out five months from now so the situation is a lot more promising.

I loved what I saw and I hate that. Thought I was done with consoles. If the launch library is even half-decent I'll be hooked.

I highly doubt it'll cost more than $300. The reason the Wii U's price was so high was because it was really expensive to produce, this however looks like it only costs about a hundred or less dollars to make so I don't see it needing to have a ridiculously high price.
We'll see, Nintendo has a habit of repeating mistakes afterall.
It's strange that they're releasing it in spring and not fall, though it'll atleast have more games by the holiday season.

ITS PERFECT
Finally a Nintendo handheld that isn't underpowered. This thing is basically a portable Wii U with cartridges. I love it. Cartridges means it'll have faster loading times, and people don't have to worry about scratching their discs up.

EDIT: Spike Chunsoft giving it support has me VERY curious. Hopefully its something more than just a 999 HD port that's in the works.

Im blown away so far. The first portable home console will be quite revolutionary if done correctly. The system itself looks beautiful, but Im trying to remain skeptical until we learn more about its upcoming games.

Btw, what did you guys think of the peak we got at the new mario game in the trailer?

It looks like you can roam anywhere you want, just like in 64. It's looks nice for what little we got.

Since this doesn't have any weird control gimmicks, and since Platinum Games is doing something on the Switch, I wonder if they're going to fix Star Fox Zero's controls and release it on this.

Im getting it. Looks like a 3ds with one screen, a real contoller, and better graphics that I can plug into my tv.

I usually like Nintendo because they get a lot of JRPGs and simulation (harvest moon, animal crossing, ect.) Games.

Ive never actually played skyrim, surprisingly. I dont trust my PC to run it and never bothered getting a PS or Xbox. I might pick it up on the Switch if its a clean port.
