A bit offtopic, but does the US civil system have a mechanism to encourage settlement or preventing waste of time measures against the court and Defendants?

Even a retard like me could figure it out, and the only roadblock I ran into was realizing that, hey, maybe this 512gb sd card isn't the best choice, when a 32gb card works just as well

It’s baked into how the court works. No side really wants to waste time and money. Nintendo is probably going to ask for some amount of damages and the closure of the Patreon at a minimum.

What else are they supposed to do? Shut down the completely voluntary Patreon for a month when Zelda releases and blacklist that specific game from running?

Watch that Nerrel video for a quick rundown. Parts of the same legislation have been used to successfully argue both sides in court. It's a fucking disaster. You're allowed to create backup copies, but don't create backup copies. Horrific grey area that will never be settled, but Jewtendo will always sue.

Gonna be honest, I am interested in it. It looks different, and I am curious if it will end up being a Luigi’s Mansion style situation where the dumb idea has a ton more merit than it was given credit for upon release. The costume idea seems like a fun one if fleshed out, allowing for a bit of gameplay variety.

So far, previews seem positive. Only major concern is that it is too easy. I am betting on it being a 6-7/10 that will have a decent cult following as the gameplay is at least engaging for a few hours.

Not having a very public way you can send them money for allowing you to emulate games is wise honestly. Especially if those games shpuldn’t even be out yet.

Certainly blaclisting the specific game from running. It would have just been smart until the game actually released.

I'd like to also point out that Yuzu only requires the prod.keys to even "work", unlike Ryjinx, which requires a lot more of the dumped switch files (more in like with other emulators like RPSC3 and Xemu need files from an Actual PS3 or OG Xbox to actually get something done), so uh... they're turbo fucked on that front.

TOK didn't run before the official release and neither did Mario Wonder and not because they were blacklisted, but simply because they weren't supported yet, so they kinda already did that. Devs didnt fix issues with the games until release.

i see. Then i would have suggested staggering the leak releases a bit so that any money your patreon gets can’t be directly tied to the leaks or the day of release upon which the leaks will work.

But really just don’t have a dono page for your emulator job.

This routinely ends up biting people in the arse.

Because from what i remember the devs wouldn't even touch the thing, would get any retard that asked about the leaks shot on sight and the ones making builds to play that dogshit game ended up being a bunch of random autistic ruskies
