Why would they lie about not making DLC for one of their biggest games? If there was even a chance of it, they would give some PR non-answer.
Because it makes the eventual reveal much more exciting. If a game is a dead ringer for DLC, it will get DLC.

Yes I think there is a chance you are correct. But it doesn't make sense not to add DLC to Zelda unless it arrives in a different form than we expect (like it being on Switch 2). Seems like leaving a lot of free money on the table if they don't expand Zelda.

F-Zero 99 got upgraded with a "Classic Mode". 20 player races with traditional boosts, old screen ratio, less draw distance, no skyway/spin attacks and orange bumpers. The game feels a lot faster in this mode. Still no new tracks unfortunately.

Ding Ding Ding! We have a winnah!

Of course Tears of the Kingdom Master Collection on Switch 2 is going to have some sort of "exclusive" content that is just glorified DLC that they withhold to get you to buy the game on a new system.

That's not DLC though. That's just extra content. Not saying they wouldn't do that; its just that, by definition, it isn't DLC.

This is actually a mode I was hoping for from the very beginning. If you've played 99 and then shot right straight to the original, you'll realize there's a DRASTIC difference in how the tracks are layered.... as in 99 is more "wide and short" while original is "slim and tall", if that makes any sense. I guess it's to compensate for the fact that there's more people racing, but honestly, I'd preffer if the chaos was included with the O.G. tracks. In 99 you're more reliant on orb collecting and car smashing to increase your bar and get to the shortcuts. in Original, it's ALL skill, and I've noticed even the top ranked players are having difficult with the tracks. Last night I almost made it to 1st place in original mode, which is NEVER a thing I could do in 99 mode.

I just HATE HATE HATE how they made Origjnal mode a "special" course that only shows up at a certain time period. It should be something you're allowed to pick anytime whenever you want.

Nash Weedle has been providing mounting evidence for a Nintendo Switch Mini or Nintendo Switch Pocket gaming device. The source is insistent that the amount of patents that have been discovered that could pertain to a miniature variant of the Nintendo Switch (or Switch 2?) are almost enough to practically assert the existence of Switch Mini/Switch Pocket development. However, it’s worth remembering that leakers who are based on X (formerly Twitter) often have to resort to sensationalism and hyperbole to attract followers, so a pinch of salt is definitely required in this instance.

Astlibra Revision is a very good game but it feels like they totally half-assed the Switch port. So much of the text is completely illegible on a TV, but I imagine it looks just fine on a PC monitor.

Two years too late, to be honest. Sounds so much better than the shitty-ass, useless Lite though.

Edit: Also, text size issues since this shit is being released at the end of the console's life instead of near the beginning.
It would be inline with my theory that a Switch Mini gets sold alongside the Switch 2 as a lower cost handheld console like the 3DS.

The thing about patents is that they might mean something...or they might mean nothing. Companies file patents all the time that they never use.
What could’ve been :(
