Shameless double-posting, but the Touch Detective trilogy is getting a global release for you English bros.

Between this, Ghost Trick, the entire Ace Attorney franchise and Another Code Recollection, I wouldn't be surprised if Hotel Dusk/Last Room and Tantei Jingouji Saburou (Jake Hunter in English) were to re-appear on Switch too.
There is one Jake Hunter game on the Switch already but it's called "Daedalus - the Awakening of Golden Jazz", so you'd never know it.

I hope Hotel Dusk hits Switch, that's an incredible game. Another good one is the Utawarerumono series, which is bizarrely absent despite the entire trilogy being on Vita.

Japanese Switch of Chaos;Head was actually rated Z (the highest CERO rating which is the equivalent of 18+). But unlike the previous Playstation Vita version of the same rating, the Switch version is based on the PS3/PSP models that were rated D (17+). From I've heard, these toned-down versions especially affect several gruesome scenes in text.

Left is Playstation Vita - Right is Nintendo Switch
The wife turned "mummy" (she's half-conscious while something is corrupting her very core) starts to feed on her child, but the descriptive line on cannibalism is removed in the Switch version.
But the next sentence where she completely breaks down (after the act), and gouge her eye(s) out with a knife to kill herself afterwards, is present on both versions.

The censorship here is pretty weird.
Chaos;Child which is the sequel on the same cartridge should be however fine.
But it's rather weird considering there are several Z-rated visual novels on the Nintendo Switch that doesn't shy away from the gore.
That sounds odd. It sounds like they had a checklist from the ratings board, and kinda just wack a moled it until it fit their standards. I get why they did it, console sales and all that, it just sounds rushed

Someone apparently released a mod for Mario Wonder that made the flowers cuss:

Yawn. If they really wanted to be edgy, they would've made them say shit like "YWNBAW" or "despite being 13% of the flower kingdom's population, Goombas commit the most crimes".
or have one of the Goombas be George Floyd and Mario being the cop.

One night while I was traveling through the Flower Kingdom upon my usual business, the flower turned its head in a 40 degree angle and said “shhhhfuck”.

Just a heads up Chaos Head Noah is censored on the switch. The only versions of Chaos Head Noah that aren't censored are the Xbox360 and the PS Vita versions of the game.
This is the only English version of NoAH; unless you want to play a junky pozzed fan translation made by mentally retarded troons you're mostly missing out on one lengthy extreme gore segment.

Game's really good btw, highly recommended especially if you were into chan culture circa late 2000s, the story is anchored to the Japanese side of it from around that time.

Hotel Dusk/Last Room
What are the chances of that? Those games use every gimmick on the DS that was possible including "close the console to imprint something on the second screen". Afaik Ninty disallows touch-only based games. I don't think a port of those is realistic. Also I don't think the visual style will translator that well without a complete remake.

That being said they remade Another Code so...

Etrian Odyssey is on the Switch and you used the stylus to make the maps in those games. There's a lot less touch based stuff in Hotel Dusk. You could simply put the console into rest mode once to do the imprint thing. Lame yes, but there are ways to get around it.

I think a lot of those half-assed mobile to Switch ports are touch-only. At the very least, Pokemon Quest is designed for touch screens but lets you move a cursor with the left stick and press A to “tap” as a substitute.
I know for a fact this game is touch-screen only

pretty funny people are already modding this game and it isn't even out yet. wanna see some funny voiceline changes, some good potential there.

Well if that's it I really don't mind. Spooky gory stuff isnt my biggest thing tbh. If the rest of its there, I'm good. It's a console port on o nintendo console, I expected a little bit of fuckery. Im Just glad its portable. Which is what I like about VN's on Switch, I'm not locked to a chair playing it.

I am now on World 3 of Mario Wonder. Any other Farmers failing to hate it?
I'm enjoying it despite the voices clearly being off. I'm in the middle of World 2 but I've been diligent in collecting all Wonder Seeds, the '10' Flower Coins and hitting the top of the flag pole on every exit. The World 2 Special World level "Climb to the Beat" kicked my ass.

My dumbass went to the Spirit Halloween next to the Walmart to pick up a mask, and I completely forgot Wonder came out today.

God Dammit.
