But the new upcoming 2D Sonic platformer is going to suck. Plus, this is Sega we're talking about, which had backstabbed Whitehead and his Mania team. Speaking of, we'll never get a sequel to Sonic Mania, ever.

Frankly I don't see a reason for one with New Super Mario Bros U still on the Switch and selling not-terribly, especially since there's basically no new ground to tread there, but I'm not certain that won't happen so :thinking:

but more importantly, Pokemon stuff has been in dedicated Presents since like gen 7
are they so rushed that they need to get rid of the Presents and shove this stuff into a Direct?

At least they made the character models not have any two tone cel shading, its kind of refreshing
 
Detective Pikachu looks like a ps2 game, not even ironically like people say. It actually looks like a ps2 game
