If one of the Gamecube remasters is this, in collaboration with SEGA, not gonna lie, would happily consoom regardless of the price (assuming the user reviews are positive, of course).

I would personally like a hypothetical Skies of Arcadia remaster to bring back the much better soundtrack from the original Dreamcast version(and maybe some way to access the Pinta Quest VMU game just so it has all of the features of both versions of the game)

Get hyped! Another round of people pretending they played Klonoa or even knew it existed is incoming.

I never played this game or even heard of it before. It looks fun. I'll probably buy it. Also Klonoa confirmed for Smash.

Hey, I’d take something like Wind Waker HD, but Nintendo’s already realized they can shit these out and make a fortune.

(And yes, I know Skyward Sword HD brought some nice quality of life upgrades, but that doesn’t excuse how lazy it was overall)
The QoL improvements are the only good part of WW HD, the art style was a major downgrade from GCN perfection.

I agree, it was too bright, but it still looked good. It was also a missed opportunity to include the cut content back in. I know it won't happen but it'd be cool if they did that for a Switch version.

Here you go, awoozles. I'm reposting a legendary thread for your enjoyment!

Too much of the "cut" content either never got off the page in the first place or ended up in Twilight Princess. I don't think it's possible.

Update - I managed to get ahold of a copy of Klonoa and......it turns out the fucking game is Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese languages only. Ironically, the one fucking thing I can read in English is the license agreement at the beginning of the game.

I'm pretty fucking annoyed. Usually I check but I was in a hurry and didn't want to miss my train and literally every other region has an English language option. This is why I don't buy a lot of games in Korea any more and mostly order from Amazon Japan. At least the Japs know how not to fuck you over. I might try and muddle through some of it, but I'm so pissed off I don't even want to touch it. I'm just going to keep it until Live A Live comes out and trade it in for that (which should have English, because every other Squeenix JRPG release here has.)

Never played Portal 2 all the way through so it might be time to give it a shot.
It comes bundled with the first game together for 20 bucks on the eshop, but the Switch port of the second game lacks of the map editor. The co-op mode is present either splitscreen or online at least, which I never got the chance to do it on PC.

Japanese physicals can sometimes include english (英語 - eigo) although it's best to check the description on the item page first. The japanese eshop page for Klonoa mentions it has both japanese/english language options so the printed cartridge should follow the same rules.

I also import stuff only from Amazon Japan as well although I wish there weren't a regional block (based on the shipping address) for digital goods, like pre-paid cards.

Korea seems to add English language options based on the mood of whoever is packing the game that day or maybe based on the weather. I don't fucking know. I have to literally check every game for English language options, because Japanese games that have had it (like the Taiko Rhythm Adventure Pack rpg) don't have it in Korea for absolutely no reason. It drives me fucking bonkers. I just ordered a Japanese copy with some other games I've been meaning to pick up from Amazon and it should be here this week. At least this version of Klonoa will mostly pay for Live A Live. Fuck I'm annoyed.

Playasia confirmed as much in their physical copy offerings that the JP versions of the cart also include an English option.

@IDanceonTrannyGraves just fucked up and ordered the Chinese version of the game instead of watching what he was ordering more carefully, extenuating circumstances or no.

The problem was I didn't order it, I bought it off the shelf without checking for English. I normally do but I was in a hurry.

I can't think of a single time Nintendo has either restored cut content or added a large amount of content to a remake or remaster. In Zelda's case you're lucky to only get a single new dungeon like the color dungeon in Link's awakening or that one that was on-disc DLC in Twilight Princess HD.

The only exceptions to my above statement are when they practically add a new game to a rerelease, like Bowser's Fury
