I would actually love an All-Stars 2 that includes Galaxy 2, 3D Land, and 64 DS, too bad it will never happen. I would play the shit out of a joy-stick controlled, HD, 64 DS. It was such an underrated gem.
I'm personally hoping that at some point Nintendo ports some of the older Mario sports title to Switch. Having both the baseball, Strikers, and older tennis and golf games would be great. Those were some great games back in the day that still hold up well.

Or they could at least make a new Strikers and baseball games for Switch.

You know, it's kind of odd that we're not seeing a bunch of 3DS games getting remade for the Switch during these fairly dead times. The platform's dead and old stock is fairly hard to come by, yet we've got numerous games that'd work just fine when ported to the Switch, and that just hasn't happened.
Nintendo is the drip feed king. Ever since Wii that's been their agenda, to dig into the past and slowly resell shit. Casuals don't notice the monumentally glacial pace, and by time the next system cones around they do it again, only this time with even more old games to resell.

They haven't even hollowed out the Wii U's library just yet, and they're just flirting with NGC & Wii games. They haven't even made their Game Boy games available yet in any capacity, so 3DS probably won't show up until Switch 2. They'll just sell you a handful of ROMs like Wii U did with DS--if you're lucky; odds are they'll now be tied to a subscription.

I'd prefer if they did port them over but that takes resources, dropping ROMs is more profitable.

Anyone know a controller with a good dpad for platormers or retro shit? I like the pro controller but its dpad is terrible.

Oh boy, can't wait for the inevitable salt that follows this one.

Predictions: a little bit more info on Kirby and the Forgotten Land, release dates for Splatoon 3 and Bayonetta 3, maybe some BOTW2 news if Zelda fans are lucky, maybe some Metroid Prime 4 news if Metroid fans are lucky, more info on the Advance Wars remaster.

Hey so I had a thought and I figured I'd let my Kiwi friends onto my wavelength. Tomorrow during/after the Direct would be a good time to check Nintendo's store for a restock on their specialty controllers for their virtual console software. Their storefront was down for about a week, roughly one week ago. And "early 2022" was the date for their restock before it was changed to a generic "2022" label. So keep an eye out if you want those rad N64 controllers or the Genesis pads.

I’ll keep that in mind if anyone can tell me if the SNES one is worth a damn. As I said a few posts ago I’m in the market for a switch controller with a not awful dpad.

As for the dorect itself I’m only hoping we hear more about Bayonetta 3.

I have the SNES controllers and they're great! The d-pads have never given me issues unlike the pro controllers. And I try to use them with as many games that I can. The NES controllers are also good. While I enjoy using them on the Switch, the main reason I got them was because they are very easy to connect to my PC.

Saw this post on Reddit and all I could think was…God Nintendo’s cases are so ugly nowadays.

The fact that I can now see that design is possible makes the all red really hard to stomach.

I’d like to point out the very real possibility of seeing the Mario Movie trailer tomorrow.

I was gonna come here to post that. I so want that to happen, just for Nintentard Twatter to lose its shit again. The salt we got after the cast reveal was *chef's kiss* top-fuckin'-quality.
