Because as today shows, Microsoft owns everything.https://youtube.com/watch?v=RWrWuXE6RHwWhat is this? Some new game? It looks kinda weird but fun and colorful. And why is Microsoft releasing games on Switch?? That screen at the end said Microsoft.
I feel like I've seen this exact same show before.Because as today shows, Microsoft owns everything.

Of course Garrulous64 would be in the comment section sucking Nintendo's dick over this, he's such a stereotypical fanboy. Don't ever watch his "content", it's so fucking drab and retarded.Nintendo fans:
- a trailer
- for a 1997 game
- with no improvements over the 1997 original
- by itself; banjo-tooie not included
- requires an expensive paid yearly subscription to access; cannot be purchased outright
- an HD remaster was released in 2008, can still be purchased outright to this day, and physical copies were produced in 2015 via rare replay
- but the remaster was exclusive to Xbox 360
- it's 12 years since that remaster, and Nintendo finally saw a rerelease of the N64 original version of Banjo-Kazooie

Man, these people are such stereotypes
THANK GOD.with no improvements over the 1997 original
Oh don't worry, the 360 version was a good remaster. It's a shame it didn't get ported to the Switch, but why put forth the effort when the consoomers will gladly consoom banjo.z64?THANK GOD.
Also the trailer does seem to show the game running at a higher framerate, which might be the only acceptable change. But that is still questionable.
Remasters are the bane of creativity. I hate them.Oh don't worry, the 360 version was a good remaster.
They serve a purpose, they're a very good way of allowing a studio to cut it's chops on making something outside it's comfort zone because they have an established baseline to compare it to that already exists. Granted the term remake/remaster are interchangeable at this point, but there's still a load of games that are stuck on platforms that are less than optimal.Remasters are the bane of creativity. I hate them.
Horse shit. They serve a purpose, they're a very good way of allowing a studio to cut it's chops on making something outside it's comfort zone
It's true, some companies have made the jump from remastering shit to making their own titles. Where as others couldn't remake shit like the GTA remasters and royally fucked themselves.Horse shit.
Yeah Grezzo did that and I got the great Ever Oasis for the 3DS. But they didn't make the magic in the Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask remasters; those games and the magic within were already made by more talented people two decades prior. It's true, some companies have made the jump from remastering shit to making their own titles. The MM remaster kind of got fucked from changing too much, I bought OOT3D because I needed an 8th copy of the game in my life but I never bought MM Remaster due to the issues that 3ds version had.Yeah Grezzo did that and I got the great Ever Oasis for the 3DS. Yeah they messed up by making the save system more forgiving and Zora swimming somehow got changed. The Great Bay Temple was improved somewhat. The MM remaster kind of got fucked from changing too much, I bought OOT3D because I needed an 8th copy of the game in my life but I never bought MM Remaster due to the issues that 3ds version had.
There's good games that have flaws which can be corrected. No reason not to do so. Remasters can be good, Mario 64 literally just needs a good camera and some more refined movement to be great again. I see no reason to leave it crappy.Remasters are the bane of creativity. I hate them.
Play the originals as they were, even if it is on new hardware; and developers spend their time making something new instead of perpetuating the slow death of the hobby.
Mario 64 needs nothing. Stay away from it.There's good games that have flaws which can be corrected. No reason not to do so. Remasters can be good, Mario 64 literally just needs a good camera and some more refined movement to be great again. I see no reason to leave it crappy.

That's what I thought too, until I played it last year. The controls are arguable but that camera is objectively horrendous, no exaggeration. And just make it optional; Good Camera Mode and Nightmare Camera Mode.Mario 64 needs nothing. Stay away from it.
If you like fluid platformers, there is this doofy kid's game called Castle on the Coast. That is some top tier platforming design. Surprised the shit out of me.
Not sure what your issue is. I can put Mario any place I want in 64 and do some retarded moves. Love that game. That's what I thought too, until I played it last year. The controls are arguable but that camera is objectively horrendous, no exaggeration.
