I don't understand why Twilight Princess gets so much hate nowadays
Hey bro, me neither. I hated Twilight Princess right from the start. I was hyped when the trailers were coming out, got my GameCube copy ordered, was annoyed when they shifted it to the Wii and refused to "upgrade" my order and then I played it on my GameCube and immediately threw up as the avalanche of tutorials buried me. Then I got out into Hyrule field and it was cold, dead and barren. Then I had to collect seeds of light and I wanted to harm people.

But yeah, the hangers on need to get on my level and hate like me. They wish they had my hate. I got so much shit for hating Twilight Princess and loving Wind Waker when they came out. My hate is on another plane of existence; tempered like steel and folded ten dozen times. My hate is pure.

I liked the way the music changed into Ganondorf's theme at Hyrule Castle though. That was cool.

I personally remember TP being viewed as a disappointment. As a Wii launch title, tons of people tried waggling in a serious game for the first time and most hated it. It also seemed to lack cultural staying power. The WW style was kept up all through the 3DS era and normies still coom over OoT but all TP got was Link's Crossbow Training.

Tbf least it wasn't Skyward Sword lol

I haven't been able to get into TP either, I still can't believe that the massive amount of potential that infamous E3 2004 trailer showed was wasted, I still vividly remember how jaw dropping that trailer was.

It feels weird to think that now almost 20 years later I still haven't played the full game, I keep feeling like I should finally do so just to satisfy my curiosity, but I also feel like I should let it go since it didn't impress me early on and most people don't like it much.

I wonder what exactly went wrong though, the shift to making also be a Wii launch title maybe?

I just feel robbed, the 'Cube deserved to go out with a bang.

So, I recently looked into potential heat dissipation issues with the Switch dock as I've been staying mindful about subjecting my Switch to unnecessary heat due to some rather expensive repair issues I had to deal with in the last couple of months.

After doing some digging around, I am currently of the understanding that LAN adapters, for whatever reason, cause the Switch to generate excessively more heat than usual while docked, and people have found that by completely unplugging their adapters from the dock, the Switch hardly heats up at all when used for extended periods of time. So, potential solution to an immediate problem found, somewhat, but something I found interesting and probably worth mentioning in here is that, while combing through proposed fixes from people online across various sites, I would often stumble across people actually defending this design flaw by way of saying "So what if your console gets a little hot? As long as it isn't constantly overheating or just stops working on you completely, it's fine! They make the hardware with heat resistance in mind specifically because it gets hot so easily!"

It's another small way in which I'm starting to see what some of you mean about how retarded Nintendo fans can be. I have to say, I don't think I've ever seen any active video game player actually deny that heat exposure is generally bad for hardware components in the long term until lately.

I spent a bit of money to have my Switch's fan replaced because of heat issues, hearing that does not make me a happy camper.

The vents on the OLED model were moved to a better place. So when I set my Switch down on my Xenoblade bed sheets, they no longer cover the vents and turn the system into a jet engine.

Thankfully heat doesn't harm Xenoblade branded bedding.

If we're talking about Nintendo and cooling issues there's been quite a few people who tend to suck on the air vent at the top of the console for extended periods of time. It's no wonder they needed to add a bitter agent to the carts,
Wait, I do this constantly. Is that bad?
