Again? At the very least we can watch them sperg out when it doesn’t match their expectations.
Do you think that the people who are anticipating Metroid Prime 4 are necessarily FPS enthusiasts? I think it’s a case like Smash Bros when they get pissed off that a character from a fighting game is added to the roster.Again?

People are so hype for metroid Prime 4, but with all the advancements in FPS games like Deathloop, Prime 4 would have to show signifigant advancements rather than just being the same game from 18 years ago.
I replayed Donkey Kong 64 about eight months ago. It was pretty mediocre. The level design was cool and there were a lot of neat missions, but the mini-games and how often they are recycled really drag the entire game down. If there was more variety to the gameplay I would agree with you. But otherwise DK64 should stay where it is. Banjo-Kazooie and its sequel are better in every way.All I am asking for once again is Donkey Kong 64 on the Switch.
No, they'll just buy it because of the character on the box, just like how BOTW was deemed greatest game ever but holy fuck that was a bare bones open world game that paled in comparison to stuff like Witcher 3.Do you think that the people who are anticipating Metroid Prime 4 are necessarily FPS enthusiasts? The simplicity was the genius of BOTW. What other game lets me climb up an arch and do a flip over a laser beam being shot by a giant metal spider and then slow-mo snipe the fucker in the eye before I land, then walk away from the explosion? No, they'll just buy it because of the character on the box, just like how BOTW was deemed greatest game ever but holy fuck that was a bare bones open world game that paled in comparison to stuff like Witcher 3.
BOTW wasn't simple, it was fucking tedious. If you played the game for any major length of time there was barely anything to do and you fought the same 6 enemies for 60 hours. The simplicity was the genius of BOTW. Sounds more like a "you" problem.BOTW wasn't simple, it was fucking tedious. If you played the game for any major length of time there was barely anything to do and you fought the same 6 enemies for 60 hours.
I 100%ed the game. There's no place left to explore.Sounds more like a "you" problem.
Cut grass and go exploring.
I like to start off at my house and do a lap around the world map as a playthrough. Sometimes I use a horse, sometimes I walk. It's fun! You can relax and enjoy the sights, do some fighting if you want and buy groceries to feed your dog and horse friends. Where were the cats? I hope BOTW2 has cats.I 100%ed the game. That's the problem the sights are not even interesting.I like to start off at my house and do a lap around the world map as a playthrough. Sometimes I use a horse, sometimes I walk. It's fun! Admittedly, I think it's mainly for pure nostalgia reasons. As for Banjo-Kazooie, I never had the opportunity to play it and the sequel. If they someday come back for the Switch I will definitely give them a try.I replayed Donkey Kong 64 about eight months ago. It was pretty mediocre. I dunno it's pretty interesting to me. The quiet fields and forests were really nice and the low-key music was just what I wanted. I usually turn off the music in games like this, so I was glad the soundtrack wasn't too intrusive when it came to being out and about and enjoying the various open and closed spaces. Witcher 3, for instance, was a lot more enjoyable with the music turned off. At least for me. I crank the ambient sounds slider up to max and the large fields and towns become much more immersive. But yeah, I liked the way BOTW was designed a lot. It was and is very enjoyable to wander around in. Kind of like the old Myst multiplayer game, Uru.That's the problem the sights are not even interesting.
There's jack and shit for most of it, horses can't be used for a good 2/3rds of the world. Like compared the game to Warcraft's Kalimdor where there are actual interesting sights and structures. They really fucked up the open world aspect by showing the game needed next to none of it. Xenoblade 1 and 2 on the same system has better open world level design that BOTW.
Definitely give them a shot if you get the chance. The first one is great and the second one is just as good. They did a great job with them.Admittedly, I think it's mainly for pure nostalgia reasons. As for Banjo-Kazooie, I never had the opportunity to play it and the sequel. Considering people have been asking for N64 ports since the Gamecube, the answer is probably yes.All I want is to play N64 games on the go, is that really too much to ask of Nintendo?
Call Ben Heck and have him build you a portable N64. That's what the pros do!All I want is to play N64 games on the go, is that really too much to ask of Nintendo?
Technically, it's three, if you're only attacking the camps. Otherwise, it's five to around eight if you want to include the megafauna in a given area.BOTW wasn't simple, it was fucking tedious. If you played the game for any major length of time there was barely anything to do and you fought the same 6 enemies for 60 hours.
This is technically true, since the southwestern corner of.the map is a fucking desert and two mountain ranges, but that alone is like an eighth or so of the game. Everywhere else is open plains around the castle until you start moving into the more exotic climates. And fighting from a horse is a pain in the ass. There's jack and shit for most of it, horses can't be used for a good 2/3rds of the world.
Dude, don't bother, he played the game wrong and can't see why using a guui to do all of the shrines first would ruin his experience. The simplicity was the genius of BOTW...
