I got the spyro trilogy on switch but the crash bandicoot one is on ps4

Case in point, when the first BotW trailer dropped and we saw Link's new design for the first time there was a ton of autistic speculation over whether this Link's incarnation was a girl or if there was a gender option. Needless to say there was salt and sperging when neither panned out.

Actually, for whatever reason the Champion's Tunic specifically cannot be dyed. Found that out firsthand.
 
Apparently the Chinese have figured out a way to make counterfeit switch cards that actually work.

Hopefully this will be the return to the glory days of the NES/SNES and a ton of unofficial cartridges.

I'm tempted to test some shit but i don't know how to disassemble a switch cart.
 
The cart got leaked on the internet. From what I can see, 64 has upscaled sprites, but is still in 30fps with the original camera, plus it has that terrible letterboxing which I can't disable (I put the community port next to it since that box is silly). Sunshine is still in 30fps as well. Throwing in the controls as well if you're curious, and seems like Galaxy isn't even playable if you're using a controller with no motion input.

Did they botch sunshine like early reports claimed? 64 seems fine for the most part and due to the controls they had to overlook galaxy but the sunshine one had issues from what I heard.

There's oddities that will screw up your muscle memory if you look at the controller mapping. You can't change those, and the one that annoys me the most is that FP view is now bound to the right stick button. Emulator accuracy also seems to not be perfect, hence peeps noticing weird things here and there on top of technically running in PAL mode.

... Oh right, all 3 games are emulated.

Galaxy has its code recompiled to run on the Switch's CPU while the rest is offloaded into the emulator, so it's sort of half-emulated. 64 is the Shindou ROM, with texture and translation packs being applied by the emulator on the fly. The SMS ISO can be outright run from Dolphin if you extract it out of 3D All-Stars.

Just remember that nintendo is literally retarded and there's a chance they've either forgot to add it or BLM has some secondary meaning only they know.

That will mean by next year counterfeit switch cards will flood the used market and be passed off as real games.

Honestly Galaxy seems like the most polished out of the 3, but that is probably due to using the Chinese nivida shield port since the switch is more or less just that with Nintendo branding. For Mario 64 I'm surprised they went with on the fly patches rather then just applying it to the n64 rom natively, its like a hot fix to remastering.

We have a new Partner Showcase tomorrow. They actually announced this one more than 10 hours in advance and it's a livestream instead of a simple video upload. Could be indicating some really major third party reveal or showcase. Could also just be Nintendo being inconsistent about these. Who knows? I'm betting we'll see all the usual suspects in the Nintendie community generating speculation in favor of the former only to wind up disappointed. Again.
