Which would be perfectly reasonable if they didn't restrict themselves to one developer on one console. PS and Xbox owners have more access to AAA games than they can shake a stick at, especially now at the end of the console cycle.

As bad as being a Nintendo-only gamer is normally, the Switch is around halfway done by now, and Nintendo famously doesn't give a shit about putting out games except in the first and last year of their consoles' lifetime.

To be fair, I see this happening with most gaming youtubers these days. I don't know how many times I've gotten a recommendation for yet another shitty Spawnwave video about some rumor on the Xbox Series S or him posting some shitty PSN sale as news.

There is a reason why gaming "journalism" seemed a lot better back when it was just monthly magazines. There is barely enough news to cover monthly reports, let alone daily/weekly articles or videos. It's just funny with Nintendo oriented sources because they all seem to have an extra sprinkling of autism.

Nintendo is not a completely silent company, they have had quite a few games just this year. I have no idea what could make communication better other than Corona makes things slow.
