Late, but does anyone think this will be real/ have any predictions
All I want to see at this point is if the Mario remasters are real. Also a new Smash fighter would be nice. I bet it will be first party, but here is hoping that a third party can show up. Either Pokémon or Rex and Pyra are what I believe to be the next fighter if we are going but first party. Crash if we go third party.

DS is 15 years old, and to be fair it was a handheld which means it had a lot less power than the actual consoles of it's era, DS graphics are around N64 quality and I don't see anyone arguing about the N64 not being retro.

Holy shit if this happens, in addition to the regular smash salt about a character who isn't a fan favorite getting in, there'll also be sperging about how awful and misogynistic Sakurai is. Bonus points if they complain that a character favored by Twitter troons should have been the pick instead.
As for remasters I've only heard about Skyward Sword for the Switch. I think that'll be a remaster and not a port, since they've been porting Wii U games while Xenoblade Chronicles was on the Wii and got a remaster. I'd assume they would need to remove or heavily pare down the motion controls, too.

The ultimate irony is, from my experience, the ones who complain about sexualized females in Smash also seem to support Shantae the most. As if Shantae is somehow not fetish material, but Bayonetta and Pyra are.
I can see Mario as well since it has been rumored for awhile. Nintendo has also been dropping random images of very beach styled Marios with Sunshine references. Add in that it is Mario’s 35th, and I can see remasters being the big new title.
Can they really stop with it?

I've heard talk about this Super Mario 64/Sunshine remaster or whatever for like 6 months now.

Well now there's been another report of a Switch Pro, so that'll probably become the main talking point next month. Except Nintendo still can't or won't meet demand for regular Switches and Lites, so fat chance of them making a Pro and splitting their manufacturing further.

Considering how many permutations of the DS/2DS/3DS they went through, I think people are conditioned to expect "new" hardware revisions at this point. It's actually more surprising to me that the Switch only got one new model.

The special edition of her upcoming game is coming with a poster with all the female characters in bikinis.
It's pretty blatant that there are double standards. Even the artbooks for shantae have always featured swimsuit images.
