https://youtube.com/watch?v=gzTSH51nOG4Kirby is a boy, shut the fuck up. I'm not watching it!!!!!!!!
Video creator says he’s a boy in first minute, then says that doesn’t prove he is a boy.

Evidence for Kirby not being a him is that they don’t refer to any gender in Japan, Sakurai keeps it vague, and Kirby’s voice actress says she doesn’t play him as either or. Literally even uses him in the sentence:

Otherwise it was Sakurai trolling some kid who messaged him about Smash 64 and how he didn’t know Samus was a girl, with Sakurai saying maybe Pikachu and Kirby are too.

My fellow Kiwis, how many of you have had your gender affirmed by Kirby?

Sakurai just had to leave it ambiguous.
This guy doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about when it comes to Japanese. While Japanese doesn't use gendered pronouns as often as English because of their tendency to drop nouns entirely when the context is clear rather than replace them with third-person pronouns, they do have them, they're kare (彼) and kanojo (彼女)*. He touches on this when he admits that in the Japanese version of Super Star, Kirby is referred to by kare in one of the info screens, but since he doesn't know what he's talking about it, he calls this a "personal pronoun" and insinuates it's something Kirby said. What he's trying to refer to are the various first-person pronouns in Japanese, which from various sources we know Kirby uses boku (僕), which is a masculine first-person pronoun that in fiction is generally associated with innocent young boys, or teenage boys or adult men who talk more humble or polite in contrast to using the even more masculine but casual/rude-sounding ore (俺).

Anyway, technically the assertion that Kirby isn't really male or female is correct since Sakurai said as much, and that's probably an extension of Kirby being intended as a character who's appealing to all demographics. So Kirby has been shown hanging out in both male-only and female-only spaces. But everything always refers to him as he and points to other characters in-universe viewing him as like a young boy, so this guy is being way more faggy about it than it needs to be. Kirby is an asexual pink puffball who's identified as male, and thinking about it any harder than that is retarded.

*Small history lesson for you: These gendered pronouns actually came about because of European influence. Kare (originally meaning "that over there, away from both of us" but came to be used to refer to people specifically, so "that person over there") used to be gender neutral, but when Japan started having greater contact with Western countries in the 1800s and started translating stories from English or other gendered European languages, they felt they needed to way to express the gendered pronouns to translate accurately and elegantly, so translators invented the word kanojo (literally meaning "that woman") as a translation of "she", and this spread to the point kare, used to translate "he", became male gendered by extension.

No we should argue about the alien pink circle sex more!

If we accept Kirby is a girl, we accept that Metaknight et al assaults women.

the more I think about it the more I suspect kirby really was tranny-coded all along

it sucks you and eats you and shits you out (all without your consent) and then skinwalks as you

I was always willing to defend Nintendo in the past, I thought they weren't so bad but I've learned today that it was simply ignorance.

Browsing Target, I find this:

Nintendont.webp

For anyone unfamiliar, this is LAST YEARS mlb videogame. It came out in March 2024 and is now, for all intents and purposes, obsolete. To see it being sold for 60 dollars, as a fucking download key, AND its the worst version of the game on Nintendo Switch (good luck seeing a 98mph fastball at 30fps). The 59.99 dollar price is printed on the card.

This is scamming. This should be illegal. What kind of fucking tomfaggotry is this. Fuck off. FUCK OFF.

How's it a scam? Its selling what it says its selling. Don't like it? Don't buy it. And, for what its worth, almost no-one does buy it, hence the cards hanging about forever.

You know what I fucking mean, I'm sorry it's not actually the proper definition of "scam"

When does 26 come out?
March 2026 presumably. If you're about to make the point of MLB The Show 2025 rapidly approaching obsoletion, it's in February of the next year that they stop receiving support and the playerbase tanks, though the discontinuation of previous gen consoles with 25 meant 24's playerbase dwindled a little longer. It shouldn't be full price anyway, no way. Just let me be mad at Nintendo.

I know the old version sticks around for awhile, I just didn't know when the next year came out. They shouldn't have even put it on Switch 2.
Everyone who cares will already have 25. Poor people stuck with 24 can't Switch 2.
The Switch 1 versions are awful in general because of the limitations. Your performance in game is hugely affected by the system's graphical performance. Reaction speed, depth perception and your ability to see the balls movement all take a massive hit with the lower fps and resolution. You have no hope playing well online, not with crossplay, and its not much better without crossplay as everyone instinctively uses lightening fastball pitchers anyway, so neither of you can hit a damn thing

You might have fun if you play single player and stick to the easiest difficulty against primarily breaking ball pitchers. The Switch 2 is sure to have the same problems. The game shouldn't be on Switch.

I'm one of the poor assholes who didn't want to buy a ps5 just for 1 game so I tried the Switch version. Regrettable.
