Between 3D Marios dumb voice, the absurd lengths that Nintendo will go to protect its IPs, and now this Nintendo land... I'm beginning to think that Miyamotos gone a bit too far with his Disney obsession. Plus theres kind of a virus still going on...I await the inevitable in game exclusives that you can only get by visiting the park.

On a side note, I've noticed that creators who grew up idolizing Disney end up with similar faults, they stick their name/face on everything (despite their work being done by teams), hate it when anyone copies their work even to a small degree, and they put on a fake "nice guy" image. Its like Mickey Mouse spreads some sort of ego plague or something.

Well, it had to happen, eventually...

For those who don't want to watch it, he's basically advertising the exclusive smartwatch and gift shop. And the theme park is a little bit on the corny side.

Thanks, I didn't watch the video myself so at least now I know what it is, Nintendo advertising stuff and IGN receiving kickbacks for their positive reviews via being allowed to host the video.
There's also an Mario Kart-themed ride and a restaurant that predictably serves mushroom-themed food. It's set to open in Japan, next February; with a branch in Singapore, Orlando, and Hollywood under construction.

Needless to say, it's a win for the consoomers.

Funny thing is, most of the comments on that video have people praising Miyamoto for being the second coming of Disney, while being in awe that he called Mario, Luigi and Toad “his children”. But hey, at least Hollywood, California will be next in line for more of some Mario merch when Super Nintendo World arrives there.

Wasn't expecting the Hollywood branch, but at the end of the day most game devs do want to be movie directors.

They aren't entirely wrong...for better or worse. I'm more annoyed by the butt-kissing type of comments "Oh thank you Miyamoto for creating this overrated game that I treat like a religion, you deserve to be hailed as the next Disney! Now let me say thank you a second time!".
If people can be that nice to some old out of touch guy that they only know through videos, why can't they be nice to each other?

Disney was pretty pissed off that Nintendo went with Universal instead of them. They really wanted to make this park. This is why Mickey won't be in Smash.

Either way, Mario Kart. Eat shit, faggots. DLC all-but confirmed when he said "soon everyone will be able to play it."

Nintendo was always Disney-like in some of those ways, I think getting the untouchable status thanks to being the MUH CHILDHOOD of many a person causes these companies to form a certain type of ego. And the consumers get blinded and think these companies are nice and wholesome just because they associate them with beloved childhood memories.

In reality...Nintendo Ninjas figure out a 3ds hacker's work schedule and have him under surveillance so they can confront him.

It doesn't help that as bad as Nintendo might be, they're still not nearly as bad as many of the other game companies.

It appears our superiority has spawned a 49 page thread of seething.

Remember, you may have the better graphics, but who has the better games?

The shitty dualsense PS5 controller has faulty trigger design, they've started breaking down. Nintendrones are acting all smug and haughty with "who's got shitty gamepad now lol?" like it somehow vindicates three (3) iterations of fecal matter thumbsticks on switch, switch babby and switch 2.0.
Hard to believe microsoft came out winning by literally repacking the xbone controller in the series box.

This is why I didn't get all the people shitting on Microsoft for not having a new controller design. Why fix what ain't broke?

They could've added two flaps/buttons in the back for all of the cookie-cutter war fps' that the xbox library is made of, but continue to prefer selling you an "elite" option with retarded changeable thumbsticks and craptacular d-pad. They know you're pretty much fucked between that or wasting money on a scuf controller. Sony will sell you two back buttons... for 40 bucks. Bunch of greedy retards.

Four, actually. The Switch Pro controllers get drift, too.

Controllers are $70 now and they’re all janky

Remember when Wii U had a social networking app called Miiverse before they shut it down in 2017?

I didn't know how much exceptionalism populated Miiverse. What's with Nintendo games, particularly the Smash community, attracting the worst with kid friendly games?
Miiverse had gems like the guy who reviewed games based on how the water looked.

Miiverse eventually got put on the 3DS.

It's going to get worse, the Illumination mario movie is coming out and they've licensed some very annoying pop songs.

Expect the characters in the movie to sing because they hired all new VAs.
