Is cornstarch just the black people soul food version of Necco wafers & Smarties/Rockets? I don't get it, there are plenty of foods that offer the taste and texture of drywall.
 
I have discovered black women attempting to enter the confectionary world. Candied grapes. Now candied fruit is a thing, but it's not what you might be thinking. We're talking neon colored flavored candy shells, and then sometimes even more bullshit on that of that.

"No one makes candied grapes here" yes, because it's fucking stupid to put a bubblegum candy shell onto grapes.

this seems reasonable, sure grapes weren't commonly used for making comfits but i don't see why they can't be
 
Candied grapes could be an interesting snack for baby showers amd and maybe weddings. It's colorful, reasonably healthy, and unusual. I may get a lot of disagrees, but I don't really think this is as snarkable as a lot nigger stuff.
