I really liked that Airman one mainly cause the response comics and the original comic is really stupid considering the mouthpieces rely on strawman arguments. Not defending Nice Guys or anything but I did not like how the first comic tries to lump in all women together while the response ones try to show how the Nice Guy is so great and successful with the other one trying to make it seem like the Nice Guy actually considered the girl a friend.

But that's just some :autism: from me.

The truly hilarious part about all of this is that these Nice Guy types don't realize that what they're doing is actually alienating the objects of their desire, even if the intent is to achieve the opposite, but they've got it figured out despite what anyone tells them (probably due to some level of :autism: - I wouldn't be surprised in many cases). No matter how many times they fail, no matter how many temper tantrums they throw, no matter how many shitty love poems they write to their ONE TRUE BELOVED - the result is the same, time and time again.

However, this band of exceptionals either lack the mental acuity - or plain fucking common sense - to learn from their mistakes (or even to take advice from others who are in a similar standing in life, yet have found success in getting a partner), or their heads are so far up their asses that that is simply not possible.

Some of the stories in the last page of this thread of Nice Guys turning into dickheads are not at all surprising.

abusers who get into relationships or situations of trust where they can abuse and exploit others are the sneaky ones who have no telltale sign. They are very, very good at pretending to be normal around people who aren't their victims. It's useful to them on many levels.

The lack of skill of blending in is, I believe, the only thing that keeps nice guys from being abusive boyfriends.
