It's impossible to get an entirely accurate statistic of how common false rape reports are, but most studies estimate that it's between 2%-10% of all cases. It's far from the "every other woman who claims to have been raped is a malicious liar" dystopia that MRAs love to whine about.

While false rape accusations are a big deal and I feel terrible for everyone who goes through it, I get pretty irritated that a lot of people care more about false accusations than they do about the fact that the majority of rapists get away with their crimes due to a variety of reasons. One of the biggest reasons is that rape is a severely underreported crime. For every woman who makes a false rape accusation, there are probably dozens more who were raped or sexually assaulted but stayed quiet for whatever reason (fear of retaliation, lack of faith in the legal system, not wanting people to know they were raped, wanting to just move on and not have to go through a trial, etc).

E: it's interesting though, since of all the horribly selfish beliefs a nice guy could hold, he can't imagine how sex could be unpleasurable in any way. What if someone's flagrantly stomping on your trust just to get their rocks off? It's being taken advantage of when you're supremely vulnerable. Like how a Nice Guy views the "friend zone".

Goddamn. I know that the system is very prejudiced, and I don't want to sound like a SJW, but in my opinion there should be a "Potential sex offenders' list" for gentlemen like this.
