It wasn't an "official" meetup, its like the afterparty, where everyone is drinking and taking drugs. They would NEVER do that at the meet because the alcohol stains and cigarette burns affect the resale value of the burando.

Oh don't get me wrong, this wasn't some sort of 100% of the community, it was invite only, so you had the girls, and then the hottest guys they could get to come, and it didn't even matter if you were attached or not. If you were up for some action while your g/f was passed out on the floor, then so be it.

I'd have trouble saying that group of people were "friends" considering how much they bitched about each other behind the others backs. Really the only thing that made them part of the community was the Lolita thing. If they didn't have that in common in terms of buying/trading/letting each other know about sales, they'd never talk. I only went because my g/f at the time was part of it. But it was an interesting experience.
