I've never liked the idea of a pure love, because there is more fun in the impurities. The rawness, and the messiness. So many of these lesbiancels seem to promise a very sanitized love, which to me cannot be a love at all, as to have such a love one needs obsession, pedelstalization and fetishization, all of which are more inherently objectifying than anything a man promising an "impure" but realistic love can offer.

I think it comes from overcompensating for the previous view of lesbians being porny. Yet the yuri-logic of girls' love being purer than straight (to the point where lesbians NTRing couples is acceptable) is just the genderbent yaoi-logic, the more I see it.
 
A lot of real lesbians get completely burned by idiots like this. Forgive my ignorance, but what does NTR mean?
 
I think it was a Dave Rubin interview with Mercedes Carrera (yes I know rate me autistic, but this was years before the pedo shit came out) and in it she said that women who do lesbian porn then switch to straight porn often get angry reactions from fans who say that they're now corrupted and whores. She and Dave agreed that a lot of it was because men don't see other women as sexual competitors, so a woman fucking another woman isn't really sex in our primal monkey brains because there's no reproduction occurring. It's just two women on display. That along with the still mildly common societal idea that women are pure and less sexual than men means that lesbians are pure, their love is based on the love of two ingenues. Not the dominating love of a man. This also touches on polygamy versus polyandry. Polygamy is usually seen as mysoginstic and supressing women into just being breeders. Polyandry, the woman is seen as dominant, maybe even liberated, and the men are just sexual toys. It's much rarer in history because it's reproductively inefficient, but also more accepted in a sense.

This was spergy, but I hope it makes sense. These "progressive" kids are just falling back on very non-progressive societal stereotypes pretty much.

It's a really big elephant in the room. My Lesbian friend says that her experience on Tinder and other dating apps 1 in 3 lesbians is actually an ugly man with long hair. It still confuses me how the autism enables them to think they can get away with it.
