It's true, that does happen often. I mentioned this to a friend of mine who is in the LGBT group and she told me that she got harassed at gay clubs too. Nobody talks about it but it happens.

This goes way back to the Radical Feminism of the 60's-80's. The large majority of the heads of various feminist groups and chapters such as the Redstockings, and the New York Radical Feminists, were lead by or had the large portion of their manifesto written by Lesbians who studied Freud and Marx in philosophy and political science, many of them unable to find work, ended up turning to prostitution, rationalizing their decision by telling themselves that the money they earnt from men would go towards funding their groups and in the end destroying the patriarchy.
The most popular feminist authors today, that are still used as the basis for modern feminist values and teachings, and whos quotes are often posted on Tumblr, are the very same man hating lesbian marxist philosophy majors from the 60's who were later diagnosed with schizophrenia.
Many of these famous pioneers of radical feminism ended up dying alone, Shumalith Firestone actually starving to death in her own apartment because no one was there to care for her, where her body was not discovered for several days. Whereas Valerie Solanas, after being released from prison for shooting Andy Warhol, died alone of Pneumonia in a motel.
So much for the sisterhood.

Many of them come from a middle class family, then once leaving college, alienate their family and tend to become combative with authority figures in their jobs, which causes them to become unemployed.

I'm just baffled at how someone can reach adulthood in this country and know absolutely nothing about half the population--less than nothing, because what they think they know is wrong. It shouldn't be, but it is, and it's a sign that maybe something ain't right in society.
