Trying to sort out who is refered to whenever "her" is used becomes confusing as fuck but constantly writing out the names looks awful when put on paper. Really, writing anything involving more than two or three characters of the same gender is an exercise in frustration and moreso when all of them is physically interacting with each other. So while I have a degree of sympathy, whining about it or getting upset that others won't indulge them doesn't help them in anyway.

No chance. A male child would be neglected, be written off as a waste of time, and likely eventually settle into insecure male-feminist territory, or radicalize and become an MRA.

A female child, however, is going to be treated as Mama's proxy. She'll be forcefed everything Mama decides she "needs" in order to prove that girls are better than boys. Her obviously bad behaviors will be overlooked, but behaviors Mama doesn't like will be punished severely. If she's straight--and there's a 97% chance she is--Mama will deny her the right to express her sexuality and try to force her to be a lesbian, potentially to the point of overlooking rape by older lesbians. A female child under such a woman may eventually end up with significant identity issues and permanent scars.

There is always hope that Mama will grow up and learn to love her children more than herself and be a good parent. But if she doesn't, these kids are screwed.

Which meant that she had a massive crush on my ex and tried to sabotage our relationship.

And this is one of the reasons why I hate a f/f ship that would normally hit all of my soft spots and kinks. Korrasami fans are some of the most entitled assholes I've seen in fandom and it's blatantly obvious that they project their hatred of every single man in existence on Mako, who isn't exactly a saint but really doesn't deserve all of the "LALALA THE HOT LESBIANS LEFT HIM" bullcrap he still gets. For them, the ship is all about the ~precious girls~ being ~fierce lesbians~ and ~hating on the evil boyz YASS QUEENZ~ rather than, well, two bi girls who like one another.

Plus the way the OP of the first post makes Korra look like a gold digger AND treats Asami as Korra's ~prize vagina~ is really disgusting and would be very OOC for the two of them.

In fact, if more people recognized and allowed the fact that women are just as horny as dudes, maybe fewer women would be secretly into some really fucked up shit.
 
I can see why a glamor girl and a superpowered tomboy in lesbians with each other has its appeal, but it's insincere postulation about rep in this case.

F/F fans have been shooting themselves in the foot by politicizing F/F as pure, good, and above all other icky M/M and M/F. They complain about people favoring ships with men over femslash then proceed to write or draw F/F devoid of any conflict and definitely of anything *gasp* problematic. Which means it's boring as fuck.
