Can you imagine a guy saying "I'm not like other guys, when I see a pretty girl I fantasize about holding her hand and kissing her!" and not being immediately flagged as a creep?

Yeah, I didn't think so.
I mean, this is just classic Nice Guy behaviour. All the lesbians I know are absolutely thinking about banging hot women when they see them.

Where does this "often" happen? Why would any bi woman give a shit about whether her partner is attracted to trans people? The only thing that matters to the vast majority of couples is whether both partners are attracted to each other. No one goes out of their way to say "hey, you should ogle more people who aren't me".

tbf i've seen a lot of posts criticizing women who specifically write "no trans women" in their profiles on dating sites, so i can definitely see a lot of bi women and lesbians whose political ideologies are influenced by tumblr refusing to date/breaking up with someone who admits they're not attracted to trans people, or making a big deal about finding out their partner feels this way, even if it's only mentioned politely and in a situation where it's absolutely relevant.

so yea, if it happens, you should probably be more concerned about the fact you're dating an idiot who lets tumblr define their beliefs.

Both of these groups do the things they are accused of and spend all their time screeching about how it's actually the other faction starting shit and ignore evidence to the contrary. I don't see an annoying bis thread anywhere but it could be made if anyone cares enough to gather examples.

i don't care enough to start one but if anyone reading this thread does, searching the terms "monosexuality" and "monosexual privilege" would probably be a good place to start. also http://bidyke.tumblr.com/.

I'm getting 2002 flashbacks. Can this lesbian love this girl as much as Sam loves Frodo? We call that shit friendship, yo. I'm sorry you're only now having your first real friend and you've just decided to stop raping them because "she never really enjoyed it when we were having sex". Freaking... she-Weinstein.

"Sex isn't everything"

It isn't everything but it's really fucking important regardless. If you want a deep, emotional connection to your partner, guess what? You're gonna have to spread your legs.
It's weird how she can act like sex doesn't mean anything and still act like it's all about sex.
Least she could do is pretend to try

The salt about lesbians who won't date trans women with dicks is at astronomical levels these days. I almost think it deserves its own thread.

This doesn't involve lesbians but a gal and a straight dude. Now it may be a troll, /r/Relationships has a lot of trolls that post to "prove" a point. However, I want you to look at the majority of the comments on this.

It's almost definitely a troll post; someone most of the way down says it's a re-post of a previous troll post just from the opposite perspective. That doesn't cancel out the weird double-standard thing going on, but a lot of users are bringing up how weird people's advice would seem if the genders were reversed.
