I hate to say it but he sold it at a good time. Market is dipped so if he isn't a total moron he stands to make even more money. Who am I kidding though, that's not going to happen.
 
Honestly the real reason he offloaded it was probably due to both him being poor and genuinely needing the money, and Jersh pointing out that stonetoss intentionally gave it bitch tits

Yeah, I think either 1 of 2 things happened
1)He got his first lawyer bill
2)He's been talking to lawyers due to the recent charge and knows the bill will be coming due soon.

Actually a good point. Even those shitty NFT games make use of tokens much better than all these shitty jpegs.
Theoretically you could use NFTs as credentials, tickets or proof you "own" something. But who cares if you "own" a stupid image on the internet?
Maybe I will live long enough to see a Diablo-esque game, where the dropped Items are NFTs and we will see a revival of good old trading, no dupes.
 
Ralph’s lying about not wanting to sell it. He’s extremely high time preference and sold it immediately for money. Remember when he received that large crypto payment from some European dude who killed themselves and gave crypto to a bunch of white nationalists, and Ralph? He sold it immediately and lamented how if he’d have saved it he’d have more.

No doubt he’s sold it just for more Vegas money.

No one can take them away from you and someone else can make a game using them theoretically.
It is also not about value in this case, but infrastructure.

I would take NFTs as items over some $/€ auction house shit, like Blactivision tried to do, any day.
Of course people will trade their shit for real money, but it will not be governed by the publishers.
 
I wonder how much Ralph will pay for another plain fucking cut of beef in his next vegas trip, now that he's got 10k to burn before the Vickers come crawling out for it.
