Edit to add: It does feel different to see the Pope as a man I could actually personally talk to and ask questions about God again. I know that's white English-speaker chauvinism or whatever but the old Pope always felt psychologically more like a Pokemon or a some kind of mascot creature. Like he's just there making cute noises and then somebody tells me what he's talking about.

I think it's arguably acceptable to double post if it's been over a week and there's news on the subject? Otherwise I'm just making additional threads.
New Pope says gay marriage ain't as good as a man and a woman, and also that unborn babies officially matter again. I cannot describe my spiritual relief. Maybe I am gonna actually stick with the Catholics after all.
