I was kinda thinking, "Hey TMNT the movie is pretty much the first issue of the comic, we need to fix that lack of gore though" My other suggestion for that combo would have probably been Oldboy.

Well one’s a feel good comedy that leaves you rolling on the floor in laugher, and the other has a big goofy marshmellow monster. They’re thematically similar.
Anyway, we’re doing “Movies that are kinda Horror Movies”, featuring Silence of the Lambs, Se7en, The Predator, and Maytrs (since a few of you spergs have been clamoring for it). Maybe we’ll do “Misfit Pairings” some other time, after the big October Horror spergfests.

For Body Horror: Slithers, Society, Bad Taste or Dead Alive (Braindead).
A good french slasher, High Tension
The Devil's Candy is pretty dope too.
