On the movienight page. Well shit, guess it is Popo night 2.0 going off that. Hope I'm wrong and just another retarded tagline again.FRIDAY: Don't call the (especially this particular killer) popo.
I think the theme is Killer Cop Movies, but I didn’t see the conclusion of the poll.On the movienight page. Well shit, guess it is Popo night 2.0 going off that. Hope I'm wrong and just another retarded tagline again.
I hope that is the case. No idea why can't just put what the theme is instead of the retarded taglines every week.I think the theme is Killer Cop Movies, but I didn’t see the conclusion of the poll.
Ideally we would go back to a screenshot of the poll getting posted in the thread Sunday night or Monday. However the poll typically doesn't end until a lot of people have already left and most of the mods are asleep. It also doesn't help that the people that suggest the theme that wins often aren't around to clarify things at the end of the vote.I hope that is the case. I always try to post the poll results if I am there for them, but sometimes I miss the end.Ideally we would go back to a screenshot of the poll getting posted in the thread Sunday night or Monday. I've not seen in him a while, is he sticking to Saturday's again?I will make sure that we don't have a Popo night, who even likes that retard?
Duck bans him on sight, then Popo uses alts to dm chat with users until VHC unbans him on the monday. He was around last weekend.I always try to post the poll results if I am there for them, but sometimes I miss the end.
Feel like there should be an unofficial rule that whoever suggests a theme should then be liable to bring 2 or 3 movies for that night. I always try to bring something but there's been a few nights where it's been slim pickings.

Yeah, it's pretty straight forward. Things along the lines of "Reefer Madness" andTo avoid any confusion, next Friday's Theme is: Educational/PSAs

If the user who suggested the winning theme would like to elaborate further on the criteria, that would be cool. Otherwise it seems fairly cut and dry.
Would stuff like Look and Read, a British educational hosted by this thing countYeah, it's pretty straight forward. Things along the lines of "Reefer Madness" and https://youtube.com/watch?v=kHFnc_eV4LgMost of these are short so I expect it to basically be a "filler night" kind of ordeal.
It's not quite what I had in mind but I'm not opposed to it's inclusion.Would stuff like Look and Read, a British educational hosted by this thing count

I kind of like the idea of gathering PSAs from other countries and playing those as filler content tbhWould stuff like Look and Read, a British educational hosted by this thing count

well that wasn't a psa, was just a educational show made by the bbc, kind of like Mr Rogers aimed at older kids and mostly played in schools.I kind of like the idea of gathering PSAs from other countries and playing those as filler content tbh
They used to play them a lot when I was kid at school, mostly Dark Towers or Through The Dragon's EyeChildren anthology series that mixed stories of adventure, sci-fi and even horror with educational segments aimed at improving children's literacy skills.
That one's a bit of a stretchthreads counts as a psa, correct?
