New Movie Night Thread - Every Friday Starting at 6ish

I am more than happy to keep promoting this every weekend so long as I have a post to highlight. We had some wobbles this week but we got them sorted out.

If we want a custom banner there is a size limit. Unfortunately I am locked out of seeing the exact size but I am sure it is somewhere .

do you have the ability to feature? i'm confused as i can't even tell if you do or not at this moment.

I'll start to try and make a list of people who can feature so we know who can, and whoever makes the post (it'll probably be duck since he makes the banners) will just need to @ people and put them in a spoiler on the post to indicate this is the post we want to feature. Multiple people can feature a single post and that will just make it populate more often on the front page, so the more people that do, the more likely people will see it. i'll make sure to discuss it with him this weekend. The easiest way will probably be to bookmark the sample post i made to copy and past each week.

I can highlight one post every 3 days it appears, so I should be able to do it each weekend. I can control how long it appears for, so I can do a longer post to cover the whole weekend or just something to cover Friday night but it will show up more for people.

probably best to do more frequent for one night just to get people to check out Friday in particular.

What's this?

Kiwi Farms Movie Night is a long running tradition of Kiwi Farms in which users of the forum group watch various movies, videos, documentaries, and other oddities found on the Internet and beyond. Every Friday to Sunday users hang out to watch some of the best cinema to grace the screen, or some of the worst footage to be found in the dump! Every Friday follows a theme selected the weekend before, with Saturday and Sunday any leftovers get mixed in with whatever users bring. Things kick off around noon but primetime starts around 6:00-7:00pm EST. ​

Why can't I see anything?

You need to install Tampermonkey! This is what allows the script for Cytube to run videos hosted on Google Drive. Make sure you are signed into a secondary google account prior to joining. Chromium based users will have additional things to setup which can be found at the top of the banner on the Cytube page.​
