I'll be bringing Magnolia @R00T's least favorite movie of all time.
You are correct on the theme, and the issue I have with Magnolia is that it just keeps going for such a long time and has such a senseless plot for such a large cast. I liked some of the characters but when it just keeps going and going and looping back on characters and oh my god it's over 3 hours and i left to do the shopping and came back after going to the gym and it's still going... you get the point. I'm fine with character pieces and a minimalist design when it's very settled. Spun is great. I was the only person that liked I'm Thinking of Ending Things.

Also the frog violence I can not advocate for as a frog parent.

One future theme might be ‘Less Famous Versions’ or ‘Cradaptations’. Versions of films that get overshadowed by other versions of the same film. For example, the Ralph Bakshi version of Lord of the Rings.

As a Bakshi-ite I’m unfren’ing you

I would love to see No Other Choice, I've heard a little about it and it sounds fantastic. Park Chan-wook usually makes good stuff.

Die My Love and Nuremberg look interesting as well. Mostly I just want to see Crowe play Goering, from the trailer he looks almost spherical enough to be Herman himself.

Was struck by a memory recently that has inspired a theme idea.
Crackhouse movies.
These are the movies that are most likely to be played in a crackhouse. Specifically, this is either the movie that the crackheads are watching or the movie that the kids watch while mom is smoking crack in the bedroom.

Bakshi's LotR kicks ass. Jackson's licks ass. 'Nuff said.

i'm glad people enjoyed the GBZ this weekend as I was really trying to do something more thoughtful. Hee Haw Farm was just a last minute fill in, but the goal was to really try and highlight the history of the migrant worker problem, and express how this nuanced issue has been present in the US for a century. Also rip my homie the smelt. Even after death it gets blamed. Crazy how the lobbyists and farmers are able to just create lies and perpetuate it because people care more about the culture war than reality. I probably won't do anything this weekend but I'm trying to think of another interesting idea to highlight.

It was one of the best GBZ's, everything fit perfectly. Harvest of Shame in particular was great. Hee Haw Farm was an incredible find, amazing that it was just a random grab from Tubi, one of the absolute best worst movies I have ever seen.

what is classed as classic bad movies? Is there any rules or date cut off?

No real rules or cut off for this one, I was thinking of having a mix of the Classis bad movies (Plan 9, The Room, Manos, etc.) and whatever people thought were kiwi classics. Just no Russo or that other guy that's even worse.
