Just to check if the no sub rule is still up for this theme?

Because something like NO, would be very fitting if subs are allowed

If not, are movies just set in South America like Sorcerer allowed?

The real theme is Latin American Dictators not just a general Lat Am night. I think it’s reasonable to suspend the subs rule because… the films should really be in the native tongue.

does brazil count

i mean i'm not your keeper. does it have a dictator in latin america?

There aren't many movies about dictators in Latin America, so would movies about living under a dictatorship in Latin countries also count? Because shit ton of them, if not however that is fine, just double-checking.

Yes. That’s fine. A banana republic just has to be a part of the story.

Is there a good movie about the UFC/Dole and all their fruity fueds? Not documentary shit, actual films.

The grand majority of them are boring dramas made under a leftist or at the very least center-left lens, so i expect chat to get bored, sperg out at them, or both.

I found the entire movie on YouTube a few days ago. Do we have it on the rotation already?
Pirates of the Caribbean, El Dorado, just make sure to include whatever counts as classic Latin soap opera clips between flicks.

Theres also that one film written and directed by CRP. Argentina counts technically.

May be loose but Scarface, Machete, End of Watch all have some latin kick to them off the top of my head. Maybe Magnificent Seven since they have to save a small town of mexican'ts from a roving gang. Fistful takes place just over the border.

We currently have an entire division of KFMN currently on the task of acquiring a copy of CRPs movie.

That division is currently learning how to speak Spanish, but progress is being made nonetheless.
