Do horror movies actually "based on a true story" even exist?, nowadays they use the "Inspired by true events" to avoid any mockery.

There are a few, but those are biopics on real life murders like Gacy or The Golden Glove (which breaks the subs rule). The rest is ones done for marketing reasons, like Blair Witch or shit like The Amityville Horror, which is based on some lie someone made up.

we're planning to steal the vote with #apenight so we're going to watch jane goodall talk to chimps and every single planet of the apes movie. Charlton Heston is gonna be sexy tho so there will be something for the fags seething at this fact. Sorry/not sorry chuds.

Ape movies include Sasquatch movies, right?

As to this weeks movie night, does anyone have copies of Lycan Colony and Bloodz vs Wolvez? I didn't save a copy of either when they last played.

I have some trash for tomorrow, including Silver Bullet, Corey Haim and Gary Busey, you just know it's going to be great/awful.

Last week movie night was good too. I forgot how great of a movie Scream was. The villains were genuinely terrifying in a realism way and it's usage of meta commentary on the horror movie genre were actually clever. I like how they revealed the third killer in the credits when Harvey Weinstein's name showed up. Were any of the sequels any good?

The second one is an okay-ish movie, but they all drop the meta commentary after the first one.
