Oh this is actually a pretty neat theme. Think I've heard some of these referred to as Bottle Movies, Chamber Films, or something to that effect. But the trapped part adds an interesting element to it.
So how 🧩 are we getting with this?
Like does The Shining Count?

In Breakfast Club they're kinda trapped in the school I guess.

*sigh* I'm no real help since I just found out what won the theme just now...
But I did see a movie like last week called Snowpiercer where they're all trapped on a train. For a movie made in the last decade or so I thought it was pretty damn good. So if you guys haven't seen that/can find it- it def fits the criteria.

snowpiercer was a little too high budget iirc. i shoulda sat down and made a little list for examples. The one I brought is 12 feet Deep and that was a perfect example of what I was intending.

bummed i'm missing it but the list is actually full of a ton of bangers.

That was me, last minute grabs. Zero idea what went wrong with the Pontypool upload, not sure why the commentary track got encoded
Sometimes it’s the default audio track for the file and the solution is to just recode in Handbrake and make the other file the default. When playing in G Drive and as a result Cytube you cannot swap audio sources so it only plays the default. I’m sure if you download that file and open it in VLC you would see the alternate file.

Super rare that it happens in the first place but it can.

Still that was a fun movie night. Siege and The Breakfast Club were interesting time capsule movies from the 80s. That movie about the Chilean minors was a fun watch. I imagine that Mario guy would have been really ecstatic by being played by Antonio Banderas. Cube was also a good pick, it's been a long while since I last saw that small but awesome movie.

Yeah Snowpiercer was on the edge, 40 mill in 2013, but VHC said it was okay, wound up being the last moobie to play in the theme the next day and i think it went over well enough.

Interesting idea for a theme. There were indeed some bangerz in there.

We had a good time onSaturday, i tried to be as diverse as possible, barely anyone added anything but me. PP was gone so i added like at least 15 films. A lot of good ones tho- it wound up being a good day.

But tomorrows gonna be up to yalls, i cant be the only one adding stuff, so people plz bring some fire.

I trust you'll have some goodies and baddies and zoomies that'll as per usual make for a good time.

Due to current events we should either do an India themed night or a "Big Brained" movie night (movies that think they are smart but are incredibly dumb like Lucy, Prometheus, Alien Covenant, After Earth, 10,000 BC, The Da Vinci Code) for an upcoming week.

SUGGEST THEMES ON SUNDAY! SUGGEST THEM!!!
