The sign is a subtle joke. The shop is called "Nasheed's Feed & Seed", where feed and seed both end in the sound "-eed", thus rhyming with the name of the owner, Nasheed. The sign says that the shop was "Formerly Buck's", implying that the two words beginning with "F" and "S" would have ended with "-uck", rhyming with "Buck". So, when Buck owned the shop, it would have been called "Buck's Fuck and Suck". (Movie rec: https://dai.ly/k5hSohBdnSH660zZKQa).

We watched it recently, on a Saturday from a shitty Internet Archive link, but the 1931 Maltese Falcon fits the theme. I can upload a copy to my G-Drive if people are interested.

Note: it has baked in spanish subs

Do remakes count? I was thinking more movies that are 100% different but with a familiar titles

When people were talking about it on sunday most of the movies mentioned were remakes or alternate adaptations so I've got no idea.

From what I understand it was supposed to be like this:
A list of 10 films with the same names that are not the same.
And picking the less familiar one.

So I think a good example from this list would be the movies Rush (1991) and Rush (2013). Rush (2013) success at the box office but Rush (1991) was not, so you could bring Rush (1991) for Friday.

please correct if i am wrong.

Ironically, I just rewatched Legend (1985) over the weekend. Tim Curry as Satan just demolishes it.
Which version did you watch? I've never seen it and my wife's only seen the one with the original soundtrack. I told her we should watch both versions so she can can render her verdict.

Director's cut. I don't mind either version but I prefer the Jerry Goldsmith score. The only thing I dislike about the movie are the dwarfs and that's just a me thing. I hate dwarf characters. Otherwise, the movie is a masterpiece.

That is based on the same book as the 40s one, so doesn't count.

No remakes, sorry if that wasn't clear. Got to be unrelated, so can't be based on the same thing.

Imdb page full of movies like this

@R00T you got it, go by box office or imdb rating if you would rather.

I learned through this prompt that there is more than one movie named Twilight, which has engendered an autistic urge to watch the 2008 version with you all one day

we watched it a few sundays ago
