Just started watching Freddy Got Fingered and less than 10 minutes in. It is already the best worst movie I ever seen. A film so stupid and amazing at the same time. I love it.

The idea of making a film as offensive as possible in response to an unwanted position in Hollywood is the most bittersweet thing I ever heard. I'd take it over any PC shite Hollywood shits out nowadays. So this film is unlike anything I ever seen. Purely the most legendary film ever that gives me a whole range of reactions. I recommend it so far.

It's one of my favorite movies. It's hilarious about the fact that Tom Green would pitch this movie to a major studio, specifically 20th Century Fox, being well aware of his popular status, yet somehow is a meta-commentary on how he pitched the movie. Unlike most movies these days, this movie is way more aware of how disgusting and cheap it is that it's beyond intelligent.

Coomer night is set for Friday
Was asked to give an idea of what movies would fit the theme, here are a few that should give you an idea
American Pie
Porkies
Don Jon
Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS
Basic Instinct
Showgirls (was on not long ago, so don't bring this)
Teenage Hitchhikers
Women in Cages
Virgin Witches
It Follows
Emmanuelle movies
Species
Shame
Orgazmo (was on not long ago, so don't bring this)
9½ Weeks
Chained Heat

So really movies about coomers or made for that market. The movies listed are just for ideas of the types that fit.

A new poll will go up on Friday, so have any theme requests for the next one that is your deadline.

Also taking ideas for the Halloween polls for next month, want to avoid themes based around a series of movies or around zombies, vampires, or werewolves.

I got a movie I would like to submit, I think it's a real crowd pleaser.

It's Coomer night today, so bring your coomer movies and filler if you want, otherwise enjoy.

Channel as always

The poll for next week is also up
https://strawpoll.com/XOgON9b6an3

Each theme has some movies listed next to it, just to give an idea of what type of movies could be shown rather than confirmation of those movies if the theme wins.

Just post it in the main channel a mod should add it at some point as long as it doesn't break the rules and not too much stuff already (this is rare anyway).

Either Hip hop, western, video game themed or African action sound fun.

Boat Disaster Movies is the winner, was a three-way tie but used my vote to break for boats as it had 6 votes the longest.

Ideas of movies that are suitable
Death Ship
Titanic
Titanic animated movies
Poseidon Adventure
Poseidon
Life of Pi
Waterworld (if anyone gets this the new ulysses cut may be a good one to get)
A Night to Remember
Triangle of Sadness
The Cruel Sea
The Wreck of the Mary Deare
The Perfect Storm
All is Lost
In the Heart of Sea
Moby Dick (1956 film)
Orca
White Squall
USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage
Sink the Bismarck!

The new poll be up on Friday, so feel free to request ideas. Also still open for October horror-themed poll ideas

>no Cast Away
why?

Mean that list is just for ideas of the type of movies allowed, rather than the only movies.

However Cast Away is a plane crash, so that wouldn't count anyway.
I actually haven't even seen Cast Away in years so... yeah

The theme tonight is boat disaster movies, which means we want to see some boats sink or at least get fucked up.

The New Poll is up

Also working on Halloween polls, so any feedback or ideas would be greatly appreciated

So far got the following, however some will likely be removed or changed

Movies so scary they voted-skipped last time on movie night

Horror movies under 4/10 on IMDB (maybe with a wheel of the worst gimmick)

Killer Animal Movies

Australian horror movies

Horror movies with horror in the title

Late works of horror movie directors

Made for TV Horror movies

Family-friendly horror movies

Horror movies with less than 1k votes on imdb (again with the wheel of the worst gimmick)

Racist horror movies (would need to come up with more than fu manchi, can be racist towards anyone)

Would this include black man dies first movies?
Great idea, may change the theme to just that

edit: started to look at horror movies, and turns out that shit is widely overblown, and rarely happens. I like the idea but better as part of "racist" horror movies if I can make a good list of movies that fit.
