Since the current poll leader is currently AVGN movie budgets or less, is that estimated total of $325,927 in 2014 money adjusted for inflation in the other films that are better and cost less' year of release?

Friday night banner 3.2 - cheap movies.jpg

Here is a banner for Friday

I'd like to propose that for one movie night we watch Whiplash. Been really getting into the movie night comfy aura.

everyone change their vote so this nerds time was wasted
If you want whiplash to be shown need a theme request where it would fit, and to make sure bring a copy early. Something like Teacher vs Student or Movies about Music would work

“Class is in session”

Movies where a mentor figure has to reach these keeds!

School of Rock
Remember the Titans
Full Court Press (probably wouldn’t do for movie night but we watched it on Hanukkah night and it was good)

Tbh I’m blanking on school movies.

I am coming forward with a proposition:

The week of March 6th-12th is international cheer week. For next Movie night I am proposing Bring it On: Kiwi Marathon. Poll would be a Bring it On movie against whatever cheer/dance/high school comedy/drama movies you can find. If Bring it On wins we watch them in sequential order. There are six BiO movies in total and a cheer camp slasher or two.

I'd like to propose that sunday we could watch let's go to prison. I don't even remember if it was good, but I think I have it on my hard drive somewhere,

Theme request: ozploitation night

"Ozploitation films are exploitation films – a category of low-budget horror, comedy, sexploitation and action films – made in Australia after the introduction of the R rating in 1971."

Escape 2000/Turkey Shoot
Action/Horror

Plot:

Future authoritarian movie from the 80s where prisoners are hunted on an island by VIP's. Some good violence and even a little nudity IIRC.

@Very Honest Content i put a list together of stuff that could work for cheer night:

Bring it On:
1
Again
All or Nothing
Fight to the finish
In it to Win it
Worldwide #CheerSmack
Cheer or Die

Attack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader
Sugar and Spice
All Cheerleaders die
Fired up
Man of the House (Tommy Lee Jones is a Texas Ranger protecting cheerleaders)
But I'm a Cheerleader
A Friend to Die For
Not another Teen Movie
I love you Beth Cooper
The Hot Chick

Even removing the ones that are tangentially related that's 12-13 movies, and i'm forgetting the one we've watched at movie night at some point that was a cheer camp slasher with the twist ending.
