I'd just say do a normal movie night (every single one of those poll options except for the anime one has a ton of solid picks) and have all the filler content be videos from the lowcow of the year awards threads. There's a ton of good short clips in the nominations posts for those covering a lot of different cows.

Spite option : There's gotta be a video doc/callout out there on liz fong-jones. Put that in the main movie list ESPECIALLY if Pinocchio Films wins.

I was thinking about Lolcow Night where we watch movies about people who would probably have threads if they were real.
Here are a few examples:
- Vampire's Kiss
- Music
- Smiley Face
- Napoleon Dynamite
- Ghost World
- Rain Man
- Forrest Gump
- Edward Scissorhands
- May

Request for the poll documentaries about criminals, cults, con artists and disturbing events/things.
Stuff like
Capturing the Friedmans
Abducted in Plain Sight
Dear Zachary: A Letter To A Son About His Father

Just murder docus sounds so boring. One or two can be exciting but that means there’s no variety for the night. Netflix recently has put out some fantastic ones alone like the pez outlaw and Hallelujah (the one about Leonard Cohen). Docu night can get super boring if you limit it too much.

That why I said criminals and disturbing docs to try and make it wider than just murder docs. Do agree it could get boring if just murder ones are only shown which is a risk, if you have a better way to phrase it or a way to make it a bit more open please let me know (have added scammers to it, see if makes it a bit clearer)

Would say Pez Outlaw would fit the theme from looking up whats it's about

Literally just have a docu night. You can find some fun ones out there on niche stuff if you look around.

When the new poll is up can you add the theme "it cost less than the AVGN movie to make and is better" to it, as it seems my doc idea was shot down.

Lot of movies that would work, even if you adjust the budgets for inflation.

Here a few movies that work, mostly ones from the past 20 years.
Turbo Kid (budget $60,000)
Blue Ruin (budget $420,000)
Wristcutters : A Love Story ($50,000)
Bronson ($200,000)
Cube ($365,000 CAD)
Skinamarink ($15,000)
One Cut of the Dead ($25,000)
Monsters 2010 ($500,000)

Ok, you guys deliberately choose to play Dead Alive during diner time last night.
Had no idea what the movie was before last movie night, I had a beer battered fish meal while watching and the first infected wound scene nearly made me throw up.
I'm not overly sensitive to those kinds of things but it was kind of hard to finish that meal at times.
