Sat we probably just doing a grab bag thing and Sunday is Hanukah... yeah we doing jewy things it seems.

Currently for Sunday I got:
The Producers
Footnote
The Believer
The Possession
The Vigil
Prince of Egypt
Snatch
Uncut Gems

Ok I remember a joke comment from last week's stream when we played Home Alone 2 at around the Twin Towers scene. Sadly there was no screenshot of it but it went something like this: "These towers were brought down by the jihadi bandits". It was probably not exactly like that but it was something really funny.

Some Christmas theme ideas

(Black and) White Christmas: Christmas films that were shot in black and white

Santa or Jesus: 5+ Santa movies vs 5+ religious christmas movies. See what wins out by the end of the stream

Tacky and cheesy Christmas movies

Muppet or Puppet:Christmas movies that have the use of a muppet or puppet. For this you have The Muppet Christmas Carol, It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie, The Christmas Toy, A Muppet Family Christmas, Gremlins, Krampus. If low on movies could add stop motion movies to it.

Christmas around the world: Christmas movies and specials from outside America. Have movies like Rare Exports, Blackadder's Christmas Carol, Fanny & Alexander, Tokyo Godfathers, Inside and Joyeux Noel.

Theme is just are retarded favorites from the year, expect some real winners folks.

If we're talking about movies from 2022 that might get a reaction, here are suggestions:
- Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent
- Northman
- Everything Everywhere All At Once
- Morbius
- Matrix: Resurrections

Wouldn't a retards favorites movies of 2022 be all be Marvel movies plus Sonic 2?

Here is a few picks, that haven't been shown before on movienight and all have reviewed well if that matters
Decision to Leave, the new Park Chan-wook (Oldboy) movie

Confess, Fletch (kind of shocked this one review well)

Moonage Daydream (David Bowie doc)

Onoda: 10,000 Nights in The Jungle

Now for shit that didn't review well, I don't think that played here

The Lost Girls (cheapo fan fic follow up to Peter Pan)

The Friendship Game

Asking for It (Erza Miller plays a MRA)

The Place Beyond the Pines - 6/10

A slow burn, but good watch. It’s been on my watchlist for a long time now, glad to finally get through it. Enjoyed how the film was essentially two parts, I wasn’t expecting that.

based, but its jan 6th so movie thing will be themed around whatever that'd be

For Jan 6th, This Place Rules seems like a no brainier, Rampage 2: Capital Punishment could also work.

Or could do a theme of idiots breaking the law/being wanted by the law, like Airheads, Pain and Gain, Beavis and Butt-Head Do the America, Raising Arizona.

I'm submitting my suggestion in advance. I propose it be in November on the anniversary.

That, or if there's ever a movie night where every mod is busy and can't run movie night, it'd be pretty fucking funny if they did this theme, queued the movie on repeat, then left.

Downton Abbey - watched the series last year so gave the film a ho. More of the same which wasn't too bad. 8/10

Jan 6th Night is a go. Someone needs to get one of those 'bad guys attack the White House' films, so we can riff on how much better it would be if Trump was the President in it and allowed to go full ham.
