Seeing how it's going to be December starting tomorrow, we should have some sorts of holiday filler for every weekend of December.

I've a Christmas idea, 12 movies or tv shows all based around on one of the 12 day of christmas lyrics. Movies just has to have one of the elements in it, so Whiplash would work for Twelve drummers drumming, while anything with a Dove or even a character called Dove would work for Two Turtle doves.

Twelve drummers drumming,
Eleven pipers piping,
Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a-milking,
Seven swans a-swimming,
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves
And a partridge in a pear tree.

Only other ideas I have for winter themes is movies set on snowy mountains and christmas speicals from outside America, maybe limit it for one per a country.

Take it poll winners will be pushed to Sunday or will they be pushed until after christmas/new year?

But for movies that fit crime christmas here are a few
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
The Long Kiss Goodnight
Home Alone
Catch Me If You Can
Batman Returns
Trading Places
Millions
The Godfather
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

edit: posted these in stream chat with links but
The Ice Harvest
In Bruges
The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo
The Hunt

Also would be better to save the christmas horror movies for a stream of their own.

I may be thinking ahead, but since it's summer in Australia, why don't we plan a night dedicated to Australian films in January? Famous or obscure ones. I'm not just talking Mad Max or Crocadile Dundee, but stuff like Fortress, Walkabout, The Quiet Earth, Next of Kin, Picnic at Hanging Rock, etc.

What are these bottom-tier Australian movies you're talkin about? This is the perfect opportunity for a Yahoo Serious marathon!

What type of Christmas/Holiday themed shit should we play this week?

It just happens to take place on Christmas, movies that take place during Christmas period but aren't Christmas movies.

An idea for after Christmas would be 2022 in memoriam, where we play movies or shows from people who died this year.
Just a few of the people who died this year
Sidney Poitier (In the Heat of the Night)
Meat Loaf (To Catch a Yeti/Fight Club)
Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters/Twins)
Gilbert Gottfried (Aladdin)
Fred Ward (Tremors/ Southern Comfort)
Ray Liotta (Goodfellas)
James Caan (Misery/ Thief)
Tony Sirico (The Sopranos/Goodfellas)
David Warner (The Omen/Time Bandits)
Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas/The Rocketeer)
Nichelle Nichols (Star Trek)
Louise Fletcher (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest)
Angela Lansbury (Murder She Wrote/Bedknobs and Broomsticks)

An in memoriam kind of thing. Gives us plenty of variety while being an emotional send off to an otherwise awful year. I like it!

To avoid a situation where -potentially- The Last Boy Scout will have a fucked framerate for no reason I am uploading a Blu-ray copy as a backup.

I still don't know what in the fuck happened when I uploaded Silent Night Deadly Night because the file played fine for me and I uploaded the same file to two different Drive's.

its a weird issue with gdrive and the file itself. the file will play fine but due to being at 23.976 fps it just doesnt work right with gdrive for no fucking reason. toss it into handbrake and set the framerate to 24 or 30 and it should work fine afterwards

I've been out of the loop for a while, but with Roger Moore's passing, I would think there's a plethora of awkward low budget spy movies out there that just wait to be watched.

With Cold War Part Deux on the way, why not?

There's so many Bond knock-offs, rip-offs and inspired films out there to mention, but some interesting ones I discovered through Bad Movie Bible's Bondsploitation video:

EDIT: I screwed up and replied to an earlier message from this year, thinking it was the current page. Ignore this.
