Movie night today is bring you own stuff night since I have be offline in less than one hour to go see a movie might my dad and older brother

We're in for the long haul today, twelve straight hours of The US Civil War with Gettysburg, God & Generals, and the original 1915 Birth Of A Nation. Gettysburg and G&G are actually pretty great as far as battle scenes go, so you should check them out even if you can't sit through the whole thing.

This Friday's movie night will be Crackpot/Schitzo Filler Night. Most of the content will be random schitzo and conspiracy theory short videos, interspersed with longer filler (documentaries about or made by crazy people).

Okay, we're planning out themes for the next few weeks. These are tentative, and may change.

This Friday is tentatively Golden Age of Hollywood night. It will be films from the 30s-50s, with filler being classic Loony Toons shorts.

Next Friday (Aug 5) is Monkey Night.

The Friday after that (Aug 12) is going to be another D&D Night. We bring a total of 20 fantasy films, and then roll a d20 to determine what we watch.

Aug 19 will be Alien night, with films about aliens (ET, Close Encounters, Alien, and the hilariously bad Alien Abduction film by the Asylum)

Aug 26 and beyond is open.

Dunno if this has been on the rota yet as its from 2016 but i just stumbled accross it and would be remiss if I did not suggest it be included next movienight.

Here is a general rundown

TLDR: In this literally-funded-by-the-russian-government-lol movie, two heroic russian orthodox teen commandos fight an evil NATO degeneracy-wizard conspiracy against traditional russian values by infiltrating an evil western wizard school that totally has no relation to any other wizard school franchises whatsoever (the film literally is based off an old russian fanfic of harry potter and the film had to tweak pretty much everything to avoid copyright infringement).

The movie is around one quarter live action (with sub-porn acting and such) and three quarters.....this

This sounds and looks batshit crazy enough for a fun night.

I made a poll. Please suggest ideas for themes (specifically, films that fit the theme), and I'll update the poll weekly.
