If you look at ugly, shriveled, nasty little goblin things and immediately think "jews!" that's something wrong with you.

And I thought it couldn't get any more ridiculous than idiots claiming Orcs (and Drow?) were considered racist caricatures of black people in a DnD/Tolkien setting.

I always thought of the Skeksis as vulture people, kind of like Vultureman from Thundercats.

If you look at the Skeksis and think "Jews", I think you might be the anti-semite. Just saying.

"I'm alarmed that the association between our people and this culture's perception of evil is so closely linked that this just keeps happening"

This statement is so close to actually realizing that jews are evil. He's saying their behavior and nature is, by his own admission, so close to the meaning of evil that they're almost indistinct, and that the association inevitably bubbles up subconsciously from goyim. Really makes me think.

The Twitter pedos claim Cuties is no different from child pageants or HS cheerleading competitions. They are being eviscerated which is revealing given most conservatives have been booted off.

I hate child pageants and that comes with other source of issues, but comparing that to having pre-teens do what they did in this movie is absurd...shit, they are making me defend child pageants! Goddamn it!

And comparing it to High School Cheerleading is just ridiculous. Those are very non sexual in nature (the good ones with talent anyway) and pushes school spirit and unity within that community. Also, the cheerleaders are in front of mostly people of high school age (their fellow students) not being jerk off material for men 2-5 times their ages. Also, boys can be cheerleaders too, so it isn't designed to solely exploit women.

Finally, I have to wonder why people are defending this movie? I mean I'm all for free speech and artistic freedom, but when you start defending a movie that exploits children sexually, I have no choice but to put you on my mental list of people I don't want anywhere near children, mine or anyone else's.

Say what you will about Big Mouth, and there are plenty of reasons to bash it, but that show didn't cause nearly the shitstorm that this movie did and I think its because A) Its animated and B) The cast is all adults. How can the defenders of Cuties can cry on and on about racism and such, when its obvious the real problem is that real children are being exploited sexually?

One guy dropped that comment on the lastest Clownfish TV's vlog about Cuties who give us some food for thoughts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjEeqPmMgzs&lc=Ugx1AdvYb5qZd-3GXBV4AaABAg

To be fair, I am almost always on the side of let freedom reign and allow artists to make anything whether it is offensive or not.

The comment here makes sense in most situations....

But sexualizing and victimizing minors by making jerk off material for sickos and then disguising it as art is a line I'm not willing to cross.

We have to have some standards, and protecting children is a pretty good barrier I'm willing to uphold.

That site nosedived after Ebert's death. I distinctly remember one critic attacking The Foreigner (the one with Jackie Chan) for not making relevant political commentary on white nationalism and misogyny, despite the fact it was based on a book and focuses more in Irish politics (which he also criticized for because it was no longer relevant or some shit). He made some other complaints about it, but you could tell he hated it because it didn't tell a story he wanted to hear, which was bullshit. So I'm not surprised the site's trying to defend Cuties.

Also "beautiful and sensitive." Yeah, it might be to people who can watch it without the fear of going to fucking prison.
